SOLD: the 1100mW Arctic is sold.
Not forsale: the 850mW Arctic
I've decided to keep the other Arctic because its a good laser with a long, pretty much continuous duty cycle, unlike my DIY. Thanks for all your interest.
I am going to sell my two WL Arctics. Current price on these from Wicked Lasers is $395US with shipping. These each come with:
- rarer G1 model with single simpler more reliable click-on click-off
- laser, original box, manuals
- expanded lens kit
- battery charger
- 4 18650's (that WL sells) fully charged
- WL extended warranty
- carefully removed the heat sink and removed all the excess thermal grease leaving only what is needed to make good thermal contact. It is understood that excess grease is actually an impediment to thermal dissipation, and also messy.
- ensured the heatsinks were installed tight
- focused the lenses at a distance of 16m (50') and installed them with teflon tape to secure them
- both Arctics come with the lens protector installed as well
- removed the glass window out of the 100% pass-through lens cap to prevent unnecessary power attenuation. You will get the glass window.
The one laser averages 1100mW and the other 850mW. These are the one's I reviewed and posted here:
