Re: FS: 3.3W SH-032 Stainless 450nm HH w/ Case & More $275 SHIPPED

Wow- thats a hottie!!

If I were not trying to sell some of my handhelds I would be all over this one.
I have meet in person with the maker and actually bought a sweet 405 from him that he built using a security camera housing- VERY nicely done.==

So I can vouch for him..

He has been building handhelds and lab lasers for a very long time.

PM me if you have any questions --

The host he used is one of my all-time favs- SSteel Auroa--

Not a whole lot more can be done for additional passive cooling --

I would suggest a conservitive duty/rest cycle and expect it to eat thru a battery (even the excellent one he adds) pretty quick-IMO maybe 15 min accumulated--

At this power you have no wiggle room when it comes to eye damage or other safety precautions-
Blink of the eye= .25 seconds- hole burnt in retina direct shot >.1 second

Quote from LSO course--

"EYE DAMAGE- is much easier to incur to the focusing effect the lens of the eye has on the laser beam. The intensity of a laser can be increased *thousdands of times* by the time it reaches the retina due to how small the eye focuses the light down to. This is why even"low powered" lasers must be treateD with respect in regards to eye safety. it only takes a fraction of a second to cause eye injury....."

NOW if that does NOT scare the 5hit out of you it should- and This Laser is NOT the one for you-

If it were mine I would ONLY offer it in the VET section--

IF you are NOT the age of consent
go read what there is about that in the 'Terms Of Use' we ALL have agreed to when we joined-- If you enjoy this forum ...think twice about buying any laser here..and keep in mind you will be VERY likely banned for life once that is known.

this has always been a problem here-- but now things have changed-

by these terms you must obtain lasers via a parent or guardian ONLY--

NOT trying to derail this FS thread at all-- just want to remind all once more about lasers of this power-- and the TOU--

I love the way that laser looks. What are the warning stickers on there? I like them :)

I would like to buy it if still available. I am a responsible floridian... If it isn't available, please send me a link to a good reliable website to buy high power lasers from for under $400.

Thanks
