Hello everyone,

I am selling pre-built laser diode drivers capable of powering a red burner, or a bluray. Specify which type of laser you will be powering, and it will be built to your specifications. It will be built and mounted on a PCB about 1' x 2' (2.5cm x 5cm) With leads for both the battery and LD.

All you have to do is add the Laser Diode (both red and bluray, easily available on this forum) and the power source.

The cost will be $25 USD, including domestic shipping. If your outside the US, PM/email me for a price.

My email is stovermowing (at) gmail.com

Im not advertising or anything, and to prove that, I have made all these deals through PM's. [PM ME FOR INFO] I would recommend lowering your price.

regards,

umm... considering I'm making adjustable drivers, which are selectable between red and BR, and are 0.6" by 1", and have a low voltage drop... for $4. I think you need to seriously rethink this.

hey wait, you're buying some??? WTF man. you really think you can make money like this?

Build quality should be taken into consideration too. I'd suggest posting some pics and preferably some schematics. I put enough labor into some of my circuit boards that I daresay they earn a $25 pricetag, but then again when you can have them mass produced for a buck of two I decide to stick to making boards for myself only (there's no price that would be fair to both me and the buyer)

only 5??? My place, a PCB that huge would cost about $1 apiece.

And if those are accurate to build quality, frankly this is bordering on scam to me.

Sorry cxrazy, but I gotta side with some of these other people. For $25 it better be a damn good board. Considering you couldn't even get your own board working a few days ago, and soldered everything on upside-down, I have trouble believing they justify $25. It seems like as soon as someone here figures out how to correctly follow one of the DIY guides they go and try selling them. Honestly... I don't think that's right. It seems to lead to a lot of absolute dogshit quality things being sold at sizeable prices. Perhaps we can try to live up to a higher ideal of quality and service here? :-/

I didn't realize the going rate was so low.

The driver that I posted in pictures would be in NO way shape or form the type of product I would ever sell. I agree that that one I made was dogshit quality, but I am neither so insensitive a person, nor enough of an asshole, to sell anything so poorly built. Mine own problem with the driver was caused by a faulty power supply, not the driver itself.

I believe that I know enough about the driver to proficiently, correctly, economically, and professionally build and sell these drivers. Please refrain from bashing be for the simple fact that I was ignorant about pricing.

I apologize to Jake12 if he feels I was trying to rip him off, as I was in the process of selling one to him, and I would have him know that if I had known of the lower price that it could be obtained for, I would either lower my own price, or refer him to another seller.

I don't appreciate it being insinuated that I was "selling absolute dogshit quality things ... at sizable prices"

I hope you can forgive my ignorance in the aspect of poorly pricing the driver, but don't judge me by the 109 word post I made. Judge my by my product. (which has yet to be bought/produced, so therefore, don't judge at all ;) )

How could you be ignorant on the prices of drivers when your buying 2 off BlueFusion and your order was placed the last week of Nov.

Those wont be available until mid-late January if I'm right. You can wait that long if you want.

Those are in a different category as they are not "custom" or "home made" or "DIY"

Personally, I would take BlueFusions deal over this deal in a heartbeat.... even if they are not ready until Feb. ::)
