Hey everyone. I'm here today to see if anyone has interest in some cheap internal lens springs. I recently ran into a sweet deal on a large quantity of these from a local store. They give the perfect amout of tension IMO, it feels like teflon tape but without any itty bits getting on any precious diode windows. They easily let you focus to infinity and beyond, and because of how sproingy they are you can even cut one in half and use it on two lasers ;) On with the pictures!

Price is $0.50 USD per spring
$0.45 each for 20+
$0.40 each fpr 50+
You pay shipping which is roughly $4 for any amount of springs, anywhere

Thanks for looking and thanks even more if you buy some :D
Question? Feel free
Price slightly negotiable on larger quantities

Re: Feeler: Internal Lens springs

Looking good. I may buy some for my builds. The tension and the dimension is the same as the original Aixiz spring ?

I don't have one off hand to make a comparison, but I will on Monday

Glad that this is a feeler and the price is 10x cheaper!

Cheers!

Those are external springs though, mine are internal. But I did use that thread and Cajunlasers for a price comparison :)

Re: Feeler: Internal Lens springs

I'm definitely down to buy 10 or so.

Why would anyone pay 2.50$ for a damn spring? That's really over priced for a tiny spring.

I'll send you a double order if you come back and give an honest response on them  Maybe list some pros and cons from your point of view. I honestly think they're perfect, but I'd like to see how other people feel.

P.S. if you give one of these a twist hard enough against their coil with 2 pairs of pliers, they can be used as an EXternal spring ;)

Sounds good to me! I've got tons of those copper modules from the GB without springs.

Re: Feeler: Internal Lens springs

I would like 10 pieces. I need some springs too.

Re: Feeler: Internal Lens springs

What's the ETA on availability for these? :D

Re: Feeler: Internal Lens springs

I should be able to get them out Monday afternoon :) but if work keeps me late then Tuesday

Re: Feeler: Internal Lens springs

Alright I just came back from the post office, and I'm gonna check with you guys before I finalize this as this will be my first time shipping out of the country. A basic bubble envelope costs $1.50 USD, and they said to ship it out of country would be about $3. They gave me the forms to fill out for customs. Does that price sound right or is there a secret cheaper way to do this?

Re: Feeler: Internal Lens springs

Sounds good to me. PM me with the payment info and I will transfer the funds.

Re: Feeler: Internal Lens springs

PM's sent :D I'm gonna see if I can still run and get them out today
