Re: Feeler: Internal Lens springs

Ohhhh, I see. When I said I had the G1, I thought you were saying that these springs needed to be taller to not fit. oops, haha

@ARG yours went in the mail just now. As for anyone else interested, I'm leaving out of town tonight and won't be back until Friday or Saturday

Re: Feeler: Internal Lens springs

I got my springs. Thanks for the fast handling. :thanks:
The new spring has a little more tension than the original Aixiz spring. It is also a little bigger but it fits the module just fine. The spring from Tsteele93 has a lot more tension. I suggest to cut the spring in half and you can use both halves for two modules.
The larger diameter has an advantage not to interfere with the light beam between the diode and the lens.
An excellent spring. ;)

Left spring from LaserPointerer, middle spring is Aixiz and right spring is from Tsteele93.

Re: Feeler: Internal Lens springs

LaserPointerer, you are da man !

I was counting my springs ( I know it is boring ) and at my surprise there were 20 springs instead of 10 I ordered. That was very generous gift of you !
Thanks.

Got my springs in the mail today!

They work with all the lenses I tried, expect for the ones with longer barrels, it had to be clipped for those which isn't a big deal.
These are tighter than the aixiz springs which I like a lot, it keeps the lens from wobbling or losing it focus. I really like them, and at .50$ each it's a great deal for all those copper modules I bought without springs!
