Default For sale, but may need help with power ratings...

I have 4 lasers that I want to sell.
2 of them you'll notice right away and are from people right on here. The other two are generic, unless you want to call DragonFire/Ball or whatever it is generic. I have a nice aluminum case for carry and go, some batteries as you'll see and a nice Eagle Pair glasses all in perfect condition.

Anyway, I have a laser bee USB meter. When I first got it, I tried it out briefly to measure my 1watt blue that I have and it tested just fine. Upper 900's or even over 1W some times. Ok cool. Now when I test the same one, I'm only getting 400-500mW tests. I also tested my other lasers and they are all reading lower then they should. Which is good news, I know it is probably the power meter at fault here. I've spent the last couple of hours trying everything I could, but can't get power readings to where the lasers are suppose to be. Are these laser bee USB devices adjustable or something? And procedural steps you think I should try? I'm basically using freshly charged batteries, pointing the dot at the black square. I want to sell everything, but I do want to take power readings for the people that want them. Of course I would want them to. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Did you look at the sensor of the LPM for damage or anything unusual ?
It will be hard to prove what power the lasers have without a proper lpm.
What is your location ? Maybe a member is living close by who can test your lasers.

When I have problems with my car.... I don't ask the neighbors....
I ask the dealer where I bought the car...

Are you absolutely sure it is your LaserBee 2.5W USB that is the
problem....

The Firmware in the on board MCU does not mutate...

Please show me a clear Focused Closeup of your LaserBee USB
Thermopile Sensor's Active service...

We'll try to figure out where the problem is....

BTW... I heard that you no longer have the Software to
test these Lasers with your LaserBee LPM... so I'm a bit
confused

When I have problems with my car the first place I go to is neighbors and friends! In that market dealers are usually way over priced and not customer friendly, specially here in NJ.

I'll try to get a close up picture of the thernopile sensor for you. It was just odd that all 4 of the lasers I had were reading way off. That's all. Would you want me to email you the picture and take this offline? What ever is easier for you, and thanks for the reply.

BTW, after I sent the email asking for the software I found an ISO image of the CD that I saved when I first got the product. I was smart enough to save it on my backup server.

Costs nothing to ask.... Hope your neighbors can help you
with your LaserBee since you seem to have me pegged as
"usually way over priced and not customer friendly".....

It doesn't really matter... you can post the pics here or send
them to our E-Mail addy...

Glad you got the lost Software issue solved..

I saw your Pics of your Sensor's active area..

The Sensor's surface only has a small blemish on it.
That should not cause your readings to change.
The problem of low readings is elsewhere...

If you feel that your LaserBee has somehow become
uncalibrated you may send it back to us.

If we find that the calibration has become OFF we will
recalibrate it for FREE and refund what it costs you
to ship it back to us by USPS and we will pay to send it
back.

If on the other hand the calibration is still as it was
when we shipped it out then there will be costs
involved.
We keep the Calibration factor on file with your
LaserBee Serial Number.

I would really check that batteries are charged to
the fullest and you follow the User Instructions
to the letter to do any tests...

I will start from scratch again. I'll charge up the batteries and give the test another shot. I'll let you know what happens. If I had my Hero2 camera here, I would record the whole session for you.
