The host is the gold/black pen host (like the Viper from DragonLasers).

Tested output average is 5-20mW with a few outliers putting out close to 50mW & very, very little IR content (i.e. 5mW per 50+mW).

I'm not entirely sure. I just asked my supplier for a picture and/or description of the case! I'll post about it when I get a response.

Idk... 10-20mW of green just doesn't excite me anymore like it used to.

It's a fair point. But these would probably just be more for like an actual "classy" (read, "sexy") reserved laser you don't **realllyyyy** need to be as careful with (ie eg you can actually hand it to your friends without much worry) compared to say a 100mW or 200mW device. We shall see what ends up being done!

That's true... but consider this... outside of this community, how often, if ever, have you heard someone say "that's a nice looking laser".

More often the effect is "wow" or "holy sh*t" from seeing a beam.

I'm actually personally kind of disappointed how you can show a 650mW 405nm to someone and they are more impressed by a 50mW green:undecided:

Just my $.02, but than I do always want more power:p

Totally agree ;) I just think that it might be nice at times to have a more *modest* device.

But yes yes you know as well as I what trumps everything else ;) For me it would be a 4W portable 473nm :D :D :D :D :D :D orrrr something like a 15W portable green with a beam diameter adjustable up to 2 inches in thickness....

They're now available for pre-order. I should have them within a week or so! First come first serve and I'm only getting like 25 to start so get in on it!

@Infinitus I will definitely look into those keychain pointers it does look pretty cool :)
