well I'm not happy :( !! I bought a 2.4w 445nm in the 501b host just 30 days ago. Just the other day I decided to try to clean the lens in hopes in improving the terrible spot the laser was producing but can't ! I went and bought white distilled vinegar (read that was best to use) and didn't get any improvement. Next I got out a magnifying glass and began to inspect the lens further. I found a spot "in" the lens that seems to be a defect and can't be cleaned only replaced. I'm now left with shelling out another $40 on a new lens on a laser that has been used maybe 10 times. I wouldn't buy another one of these that's for sure.

A G9 lens is all I know. I got some info on another thread about lens's and what one's I can use. No where can I find the G9 but been told the G1 or G2 will be about the same. Someone even suggested I try a 3 element lens because they provide a better beam. I'm very new to the high power lasers and 445nm for sure and read every day trying to know enough.

well speaking to DTR and sharing a few pictures he thinks the lens is fine. He said that spot shouldn't affect the beam one bit. I'm very new with these and very inexperienced so my observation is probably WRONG.
