Re: For sale: NEW 1W-2.2W 445nm 501B lasers with copper heatsink from $110

Paypal done.
Tell me when yous send my item.
Thanks.

Thanks for the order.

Blord, do you have any 405nm diodes to go into one of these hosts? maybe around 1.5-2W? what do you think, would that be a good build? :) thanks!

I can do a 405nm diode in this build but 405nm laser goes 500-600mW max. They can't reach as high as the 1.5-2Watt 445nm lasers.

My laser arrive today. Took under two weeks in postage, which is pretty good to little old New Zealand. I will post up some images on the weekend.
Thanks again Blord!

I got my arctic s3 today and they sent a measurement graphs along with it. It came out to be 1.679W... I can't imagine how bright a 3W+ will be! :D Of course I had to use my safety glasses. Hoping they will hold up to the black dominator! haha

Re: For sale: NEW 1W-2.2W 445nm 501B lasers with copper heatsink from $110

I need one. I have been lurking and just about bought an Arctic laser....then decided something wasn't right and decided on the 1w green Spartan. Then in a thread about melting lenses I see Blord mentioned as the person to buy from.

I have no idea how the process works so I will try and PM you and get details. Sounds like you build the real deal.

I noticed on the first page the duty cycle was 60sec. I'll be honest in saying that seems a bit short for me. I was hoping for a little longer....mostly because I know I will have too much fun and blow right past that cycle limit. DOH!

Anyhow, glad I found this place. Great info here. Doesn't appear to be too many angry people on this forum which is simply delightful :)

Cheers

The duty cycle of 60 sec on/off is very conservative. As long the laser doesn't feel hot you can leave it on. That can take couple of minutes. Also the lower powered lasers have much longer duty cycles because the diodes aren't stressed so much.

PM me if you are interested. I sent you a price list.

Re: For sale: NEW 1W-2.2W 445nm 501B lasers with copper heatsink from $110

Yes all of these lasers use M140 diodes unless otherwise noted. I have a C6 445nm with a M140 doing 2.16W with a stock lens. Blord's 2.2W laser has a G series lens so with a stock lens it does like 1.7W. G series lens allow ~30% more light through thus the added power.

EDIT: I bought a 1.5W laser from Blord 6 months ago and it arrived doing 1.6W.......i just tested it last week with a G1 lens and it did over 2W

The 9mm 445nm are the big brother of the M140 and I use them for my high power build for some time now. I haven't mention in the first post but you can be asure the 2.2+W lasers have the 9mm diode and copper heatsinks.
