Re: For sale: NEW 1W-2.2W 445nm 501B lasers from $110

The laser has only one output. There is no half power switch. The output is still in the dangerous zone.
Same question: Do you have a safety goggle ?

Safety goggles in the mail :)
Should reach within next 10 days.

The reason I was asking about power because on a red laser thread somebody mentioned that o-like 100mW laser pointer was 150mw actual with 2XAAA and with a 4.2V LiIon they were 250mw!

I guess blue lasers do not work this way.

Well some lasers still work with one 18650 cell instead of the usual two 16530 cells. The output will be reduced significantly to 100-200mW but like I said not lasers behave like this.

Got a question for you Blord: Can you create a custom laser output for me possibly? Say, 200mw 532nm? I don't think a 1 watt laser would suit me that is way to powerful hehe. Thanks.

you do realize 532nm is a DPSS module and not a diode. your better off buying a pre-built laser from a Chinese company if you want a 532nm or buy one that a member is selling. pretty sure Blord will say the same thing

Whoops did not know that :/ Blord, what do you currently have available? Anything under 1 watt?

why do you want one under 1W and what power are you looking for? It might be a better option to have a 450nm built for you depending on what you are looking for.

I can make a 445nm C6 laser with any output below 1 Watt. I have different set-resistors to make any current output of the the driver you want.

It's really because I don't want to accidentally burn anything I touch, not saying I don't know how to handle a high-powered laser. Just don't want THAT much burning power. Enough that you can clearly see the beam at night would be great. Thanks. How many mw would be enough for my request? And at what price?

Maybe I'm completely wrong, hey I am a complete noob here lol. Which wavelength will be most visible at night?

That depends. A green laser is much more visible at lower powers. You can get a 50 - 100mW green and it won't burn (unless you really try), but will be very visible, especially at night.

A 200mW 450nm is very visible, but it will burn if focused correctly. Any other color pretty much has to be in burning range to be visible.

Any high powered laser should be visible at night, green the most.

Nice, I think I might have got the last one from this round, it just got sent out, but Blord is a beast. I've heard nothing but really great things, and honestly can't wait for mine to get here-

You have the last 501B laser from this batch. I have shipped the laser and sent you the tracking code and the LPM graph.
