Answer, yes. you'd need to take the focus ring off that comes with the laser and replace it with the GITD one. what color are you thinking of getting?

UPDATE ON MY LASER:

i purchased a wf-501b blue camo host and it arrived today. went to swap the solid blue host that Blord uses and as soon as i disassembled the camo one i had a bad feeling. It is made soooooo poorly, all the threads are COMPLETELY filled with gunk and it made a god awful scratching noise unscrewing all the pieces (problem #1). Spent about 30 minutes cleaning the threads out and it was a lot better. Next took Blord's blue host apart and realized the tail cap clickers are completely different (problem #2) and the one that comes with the camo host doesn't work in Blord's laser (see pictures below). I wanted to swap out the black rubber piece anyways so i took the clicker out and put it in the camo tail cap then dropped the heat sink in as well and tightened everything up.....problem #3. The camo host isn't the same size as Blord's host. it is smaller internally, the heat sink doesn't fit all the way in the host so there are small gaps, roughly 1/16-5/54, between the top two joints (for the new members who don't know what a 501b dissembled looks like click HERE)

To sum it up, the host that comes with Blord's build is such a high quality compared to other 501b hosts. All the threads are clean, screw together smoothly and give you no problems. His are made of a heavier, stronger metal instead of a cheap super lightweight aluminum that almost feels as if i can snap it in my hands. The finish on Blord's hosts are perfectly smooth and even and look just amazing. Don't try and replace the host on his laser's, i wanted to customize mine and it turned out to be a waste. On the up side, now i have a nice looking host but need to get a custom heat sink to fit in the smaller dimensions :/ and also got to replace the plain black tail cap piece

Blord, keep up the great work on your builds. The quality really shows itself and makes for a great end product. Anyone on the fence about buying one of these lasers, i will just say DO IT. You wont regret it and the quality is just amazing!

it all personal preference but with that said im getting some GITD work done on a few custom focus rings and i was thinking aqua and white (it has two parts getting GITD) i like aqua since it has a long glow time but i may go for blue and white. we will see when i get the focus ring and do some Photoshop work to see what would look best.

it may look cool green if you also swap out the tail cap with a green GITD one and get some green GITD o-rings for the host. it'd glow green but then throw blue beams

I know his hosts are high quality but they're the same as the 501B hosts from DX... He may 'clean' them up a bit but they remain the same.

RedDart, i dont doubt they are but they are not the same quality as the host i bought HERE. Even though its not a DX item, i figured they would be the same size and allow for an easy swap. physically the outside dimensions are the same but inside the battery tube is longer and doesn't allow the heat sink to sit fully within the top two parts. i am sure that with a little sanding/trimming of the host everything will slip together and that's my current plan. if that fails then ill make my own build for this host.

The blue camo host from Livinloud isn't HAIII anodized. The surface feels rough and the color is painted. I believe my blue 501B and his blue camo 501B came from a different manufacturer.

Thats were i got the idea to swap for that host. my host is smooth, its not a painted feeling. i purchased mine from sunsky-online. Quickly took the camo host apart and took some of the o-rings off and the gaps up top by the heat sink are now gone but i now have a gap at the tail cap piece. didnt look into that much since im still wicked sick but i think i can figure out how to get no gaps. it may have just been a huge brain fart on my behalf but if i get it to work ill post a picture.

Blord, if you find your old source for that host could you please let me know. i absolutely love the look of blue camo

Blaze your new to laseringg im pretty sure so just to let you know this is dangerous make sure to use this laser responcibly, when i first got this laser i mistakened the power. When you accidently point it at a wall it will burn, even if its white lol. Paper towels and toilet paper and paper will catch fire if you do it right, just be responcible with it. i did mistaken the power and put a few holes and bumps in my desk xD

Thanks man, Yes I am new, ive had several lower end 532's (30mw, 50mw) and I know how safe i've got to be.
