Got mine (1.4+) and yea, holy shi- blue lasers are effin pretty.
Beamshots soon, should clean up a bit first lol, turned it on the first time, beam sparkly as hell, guess im a few weeks behind on vacuuming (hey, theres another reason everybody needs a laser hehe)

Also, a little mention is in order;

The tracking number i got never worked, even now that its in my hands the number doesnt work.


About the number, not really a issue seeing how it got here anyway, but i would have liked to have the chart with it, especially because most of these seem to have roughly 200mw 'extra', and i would have liked to know the actual output.

Having said that, im still very happy i got it, like i said, blue lasers look awesome (no beamshot in the world does it justice tbh)

Will try put myself to cleaning, or at least vacuuming, and then ill post some beamshots too

Normally I mail the LPM graph along with the tracking code but your seems be missing. Here you go, you have quite a margin for a 1.4W laser.

@livin I use AW IMR 16340 batts in mine. It could be that one of the protection circuits has tripped, unless they both work with others.

I got mine today and it works great.I really liked the beam and the power of laser. Eveything was came as i ordered.Also host is smaller then imagined I was surprised when i can carry it on my pocket.I am happy that it came on my birthday as a gift.Thank you for everything. see this is what confused me, i thought the same thing but they both work when used with one ultrafire.

even if both of them are tripped, would the laser still work but just pull power from the ultrafire, thus giving less output. Wish i had a darn LPM to test this on (saving for one as we speak). it may be that eagletac uses some weird circuit in theirs that doesnt like lasers

atleast the seller has been very understanding but didnt understand that this isnt a flashlight. their response is below:

"I think both EagleTac batteries are fine. I am not familar with UltraFire WF-501B CREE Q5 flashlight. Ultrafire lights are made by many factories, they can be very different in spec. Many low cost flashlight can not handle high voltage offered by two RCR123A batteries, which can be up to 8.4 Volts after a full charge. So the fact your light does not work with two EagleTac batteries is probably normal, because the light is not designed to take two RCR123A's. Why it works with Ultrafire RCR123A's, I do not know, but I can only guess these batteries are not protected, so they do not shut off when the current is over limit to protect the flashlight circuit. Ultrafire 16340 batteries are very low cost, trust me, they are not 1000mAh for sure. It would cost a lot to have true 1000mAh."

i then went on to explain the whole laser/light thing and we ended up just agreeing on returning the eagletac's. i guess it may just be my fault for buying eagletac batteries since there are no reviews about them here and working with lasers. i tried to play cool and not go off on this person since they are being helpful and i know that 1000mAh ultra's are more like 400mAh

anyone have experience with Nitecore's, from what ive read they are very good so unless anyone has a problem with Xtar's or Nitecore's i think ill order a few pairs today.

Had a little issue with the laser shutting itself down, after some great speedy pms between me and Blord it turns out its 99% sure the heat-sink screw wasn't in tightly enough, after screwing it in a little more im getting 5 cycles of 60s on 60s off without issue (other then that it obviously heats up quite a bit)

Back to 'safer cycles' (shorter with longer pauses) now that its functioning as expected, will post some pics soon, gonna try switch out the caps first but don't have a good tool on hands to try screw out the clicky part (unless i misunderstood how to do that)

Mini review (1.4w version, 1655mw peak according to above chart, black host);
Great seller, though i feel obliged to point out the little snag with the tracking number & power chart, both worked out fine in the end.
Great laser, though i also feel obliged to point out the heat-sink screw needed some additional 'thingtning', and it surprised me there was a considerable amount of dust (paint residue from screwing i guess) inside. But again, the little issue with the heat-sink was pinpointed and explained quickly and professionally over pms. Finally the host isnt mint, but you can only tell when holding it up close anyways.

Overall, i rate Blord & Laser 9 out of 10, the great price and followup service more then evens out the tiny bumps in the road, would buy this or similar laser from Blord again any day, and will recommend the guy to anybody that asks me about my new toy.

It doesnt heat up to a point where its too hot to the touch, or at least i wouldnt push it that far, it just gets noticeably warmer, which kinda makes sense considering the amount of energy flowing trough/out the head, the suggested duty cycle is clearly for a reason, and personally ill be going for 30s on 60s off as preferred cycles.

well depends departure from outward office of exchange means that it has cleared that Country's outgoing customs office

departure from inward office of exchange means that your package has gone through customs and is ready for delivery

basically it means it has arrived at customs. mine never went through customs or at least wasn't scanned at customs, it just shows it went through the post office sorting at the international airport

There have been many US customers of Blord's builds and i havent once heard of one not making it inside the US so dont worry and just be patient, i know how hard that can be though
