here are some pics of a quick n dirty Argon DIY power controller and one a Houston company sells for 99$ it wil do everything the Uniphase 2501 will do- no power readout but there is a place to use you DMM to get the output mWs.

argons are kewl even at idle but getting the full output (with enough fan) is sweeter.

Never really understood this concept (nothing against you and your not the only one to do this)

IMO if you are want something shouldn't the buyer PM the seller about purchasing the goods and not the other way around :thinking:

Like i said, nothing against you. You saying this just reminded me about how this concept has always confused me.

Ahhh, well then in your case its fine. Make sure to read up on laser safety and the sticky's since you are new. Dave is a big supporter of safety and will most likely make sure you own glasses before selling anything. There is a good guide to everything about lasers in my signature if you want to take a look (yellow link)

I've read them. don't really post much but i joined in 2009. but I have some safety glasses I got from survival. Im all abt fun as long as its safe :)

I'm not gunna go using a high power laser without eyewear shinning inside my mouth and around reflective surfaces. Leave that for the idiots. :)

Ahhhh, thought my eyes were deceiving me since you only had 3 post and joined 4 years ago. Enjoy your laser and would love to see some beam shots/review once you get it

I have a few builds that I completed just never posted the pictures and L2p build from Jay Robb and a chrome mini 100mw green as well. I'll definitely post them when I get the chancealso got my dorcy jr today yay

the first page tells you everything you could possibly want to know about what is for sale. there are many items for sale and every one tells the color, power, etc.....

LAST ONE OF THE 9MM LASERS
The 9mm diode laser comes with a copper module and has a 2.2A driver
It is putting out 2.2W+ with the AixiZ lens
It comes with one set of batteries
The 9mm laser is offered at $250, shipped in the US

It comes with one set of batteries and a "holster"






SOLD
I also just added a 445nm C6 with a gold plated copper heat sink
This one has an M-145 diode with a copper module and a 1.8A driver
It comes with an AixiZ glass lens and one set of 16340 batteries
This one has the stock AixiZ focus ring

This one is from a "recycled" host
ALL of the electronics, lens, batteries, etc. are NEW, but the host has a VERY minor blemish.
The anodizing right along the very edge of the retaining ring has rubbed off
It is barely noticeable, but it is there
There are no other blemishes
It also has no wrist strap

You can see in the picture below how minor the blemish is
Because of the blemish and stock focus ring,
this one is offered at only $95, shipped in the US
