You would be surprised how many people under 18 are here, over half of the population of this forum are kids according to the polls in the off topic section.

Alright This is what happened. I Been talking with jake21 about a laser purchase, but i thought that he was the one sending me emails on a laser purchase,but it was rubberband thats was sending the emails.
so i sent the payment, but then jake21, was liek i have no payment yet, then i was like Holy Shit i sent it to the wrong guy :mad: then i finally noticed who it was who i sent the payment to, and Then my mom Got really mad at me for buying a New Laser(She Hates lasers ;D) And she told me to cancel it so i got really pissed and my mom was telling me what to type. But then rubberband said he wont be able to refund till Monday or Wednesday, so then i got to thinking that i can juts sneak the laser in the house, because i get the mail. so then we came to a conclusion, so he got his money, and im gettign my laser. End of story.

Well, my mother hated the fact that I've spent a hundred dollars in the past week buying two lasers, but I've set up a PayPal account linked to my bank account using my own wages from working at the local cafe.

Ultimately she can't say anything; this is how I choose to spend my money.

Are you spending your own money or your mothers?

Hmm in that case bad luck dude.

Trust me I feel your pain, it's nigh-impossible trying to explain to people why I buy lasers like the ones we use.

One little comparison I find that works quite well is comparing yourself to some of your friends who happen to be whores for brand name goods.

$150 Pair of "Sweatshop" Nike Kicks?
$200 Pair of Prada Glasses?

All of which their parents bought for them.

Maybe your mother won't be so angry after that argument.

AHA thats funny
yeah well ive bought lots of laser and, i jsut need one that can burn.
and when i use my 50mW Greenie, shes like "Dont use it in the house" Haha ;D
So and i also want to show my friends. every time i buy a laser,its cheap, adn i tell my friends i paid 2x. so if i paid 50$ i tell em 100$

Surely your 50mW Green can pop balloons at a short distance?

It'd be able to light matches using a lens to focus it too I'm guessing.

But yeah, it would be nifty to have a laser which burns without the help of anything else.

it used to burn, but it mode hops so nada now. and im kinda getting tired of green laser

shes is just tired of lasers. I have many Airsoft ,and Other weapons and she dont mind. she just thinsk that buying lasers is a waste of time, but i still like lasers.
