Does anyone here own or know of a quality night vision monocular for no more than $150? Thanks.

thought about getting a camcorder? look on ebay for a cheap handycam. they have 0lux night vision

Those ~$150 NV scopes use the older technology and usually don't have a sharp immage. You can see stuff however and I've thought of getting one just for the IF stuff I play with.
Generation 2 @ 3 are over $1,500 :(

Ya... it's interesting how amazingly better that stuff is...

I was going to invest in a heat-vision camera a while back (big $$$), then decided there's really no need for it at that price... Sure enough, here I am over a year later, thinking it would have been a waste and extra storage to have bought it... ;D

I have one that I got for £70 or about $140 Its one of those cool things you use but not often, the only problem is the gf tidied it away and I cant find it and she cant remember where she tidied it too ):

At the last company I worked for, We had an IR camera cooled with liquid N2 !!

That thing could see right through clothing ;D several techs almost got fired when a woman saw the screen and where it was pointed !!!!

night vision is fun, but why wast all that money when you can just buy a $20 webcam and take the ir filter out?

That's what I did with my psp camera but after taking it apart I can't get it back together perfectly so the picture doesnt flip when I rotate the camera vertically.
