Nice, I wheeled out the last one myself. Didn't take long as it was already in good condition. Let me think about it. I've got a 445nm I've got to sell real quick so I can fund the host and diode.

Its quite unfortunate because your machine work it excellent. Better that the local shop where I recently had a heat sink made. Would you be interested in making a heat sink for 7 hosts I have?

Most definitely. I'll do custom machine work for anyone. I have both turning and milling capabilities, as well as professional 3d modeling and 2d drafting.

If you give me enough work, I may finally shell out a bit more money to buy a buffer to polish up my parts when they're done. ;)

Well I'll pm you about it in a little while. There just a simple cylinder with set screw for the module.

Would this be a 1" focus adapter. Sorry I'm not sure of the diameter of the heat sink.

Man this was such a great host. Never even had a focus adapter on mine back in the day.. I think I gotta go for it before they completely disappear. PM incoming

Double post to bump and let you know I got my kit today. The parts are machined well and the host is just as I remember :D any tips on getting the tailcap off though? :whistle:

The tail cap isn't coming off on yours? I never thought that'd be an issue. Do you have a strap wrench? That might do the trick.

Yeah I plan on going out to the garage and giving it a go, I'm very surprised that I can't get it off by hand :p

EDIT: Banged it on the table a few times and it came off nicely :D

It was on there good I'll tell you that! QQ, what would you charge me for the focus adapters you include in this kit but only threaded half as deep? They look awesome on a C6 but then you can't get to infinity

EDIT: I forgot about your focus adapter thread :p
