I just got the boards today so everything is in. I should have them shipped out within the next 1-2 days.

They're for sale on the website.

I still need to get more pictures up, since everything is CNC machined on them now, and anodized, and laser engraved.

I received Aurora C6 JAD kit with 1.8A round driver. Why the driver produces 7.4 volts with 2x 16340 batteries at the output ? It's too much for the laser.

You test the driver with a testload and not with a DMM directly attach to it.

So, when the laser connected to the driver, voltage drops to 4.5V ~ ? Ok, why the laser is becomes very hot, and shining very weak? Although in the beginning, when I turn on the laser, it shines brightly for about half a second and then starts to shine like a normal blue diode.

At 1.8 everything gets hot, the diode, heatsink, the driver and the battery for the massive current drain.

You haven't shown the setup. From the very little information you gave it seems that the electrical circuit is wrong and the battery is directly feeding the laserdiode instread of going thru the driver for a regulated current. It is possible you have feeding the diode with a voltage of 7.4V which killed the diode almost instantly.

So, I killed the diode due to faulty driver ? I bought this kit on the website mohgasm.com, and as far as I know Mohrenberg sold a lot of these kits and I have not seen any complaints about the faulty driver. I hope that the problem in the batteries (cheap chinese 16340s, but they worked good in previous laser)
