Re: Pre Order: 3A Plug and play Flexdive Test load

I'm just going to put this out there -

You might not want to order parts for a full 50 of them. You should gage the appeal first.

A couple ideas to potentially mull over first:
- Does everyone want a built-in power source, or might people actually prefer testing with the actual batteries they're using in their host?
- How many people would actually purchase a test load vs make their own for (almost free)? Remember, this is a DIY crowd you're selling to.
- What type of diode is it going to simulate, and will that be adjustable? (IE, the voltage drop of a 405nm vs 445nm vs Red vs IR, etc)
- FlexDrives can't hit 3A, so you probably don't need this range. If a V6 FlexDrive is released that can, the pin locations may be different anyway.

Totally not trying to kill your buzz. I did that earlier on the weekend, and it felt crappy. Just encouraging you to tackle some potential hurdles upfront :)

Its almost finished, and i assure you it will be clean, Im a little of an OCD freak when it comes to this stuff. All i need now is a 3 way switch that i will be looking for tomorrow.

I'm especially interested to see how it plugs into the FlexDrive. What sort of clip/mount are you using?

It first i had a little mount but that didnt work. As you can see in one of the pics(bad quality i know) there are wires with thin prongs on the end that go through the holes on ANY driver.
