Hi there, I just got these hosts in the mail today and built them. They are great. I like the price too. Unfortunately the diode I received had a hairline fracture on the window. This is causing a small little dot next to the big dot. For this reason I am selling this laser VERY cheap. It is operating at 175mW. It runs on 2 CR2 rechargeable batteries (included). The focus is adjustable. It has a rear constant on/off switch. This is using a 6X diode and a Rkcstr driver.
I would like $75 shipped for this laser.

Bump for a great builder. I think the little line and dot on the side makes it pretty cool and unique. Looks like the sun has a mini sun moon.

Did you have the focusing problem using those hosts?

On mine, the lens wouldn't get close enough to the diode without some modification

It is an easy fix, Just get a dab of super glue, place it on the upper most part of the threading on the lens then screw it into the focusing ring but only do this for one thread. If you go any further you will have your problem. I didn't try but I also believe screwing the lens in backwards will also work.
