Re: Pointers for sale / 532, 405 6x 330mW, 4x & PH

*Bumpity, bump bump :)

I recently had a local retailer back out of a deal. Needless to say I have a few items to get rid of, my personal collection is just too big.

Up for sale is the following items. PM me or post if interested, with your offer. They will go to the highest bidder.

All items come with a 1 year warranty. full parts and labour is covered. The warranty does not cover abuse! The buyer will be responsible for the cost of repair if the laser fails due to this. The buyer will only be responsible for shipping under normal warranty conditions. I firmly stand behind these items, and sell many loacally.

So what im doing is this, im going to run this like an auction. As offers come in, I will post the current offer beside each laser. At the end of the week (Friday at midnight EST.) the highest offers take the lasers. That gives 5 days to give everyone a chance.

Payment will be through Paypal, and you will be guarunteed your money back or replacement should the customs monsters sink their teeth in to your package...

Shipping is included in the final sale price to buyers in the USA. Includes tracking and insurance 7-10 day expedited.
Items will be shipped the next day (Sat.) via Canadapost which can be tracked both on Canadapost.ca and USPS.com once customs has cleared..

Items which are shipped international will not include tracking, and will only be sold to those who have been members on LPF for some time. If you are a 'lurker' and international buyer, the tracking must be paid for.
To add overseas tracking, my cost is approx $45. Canadian.. This is a high price, but we kind of get screwed on shipping charges here

Best of luck to all of those who participate.

- 190mW LG 6x  in Z-Bolt.com Chrome leadlight pointer host. Adjustable focus with axiz acrylic lens. Operates on 2, 1.5 AAA batteries (3vdc)  Comes as pictured with the black metal carry case. Batteries will not be shipped with it, all that is required is a couple of Duracells. 180mW is a fairly conservative output, and a good life is expected from this one. I will also throw in a spare lens, as the 6x's are known to wreak some havoc on the acrylics.

This pointer is flawless, the body and case have no scratches, and has only been handled with latex gloves. It was intended for sale in a storefront and is presentable as such.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

-70mW 532nm IR filtered fixed focus in Z-Bolt.com leadlight chrome pointer. Operates on 2 AAA 1.5v batteries. This was a scratch build, and one of seven made. The optics are from the original 5mW Leadlight guts, making for a nice thin beam with some decent power. The beam exits the apeteur from the center and does NOT leave the laser 'off center'.

The internals were hand aligned and assembled with care. The IR filter is from NOVA lasers, and filters both the 808nm and 1064nm infrared light. This laser came in at over 100mW with a 3.6v cell and is capable of more output, but was designed to run lower for a longer life.

The optics are AR coated, both the expander and collimator are glass.
Smoke was used to enhance the beam visability, but the beam can easily be seen without. My camera does not favor 532nm for some reason.

Current High Bid - $75. US previous bid $70. US

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

-100mW 532nm handheld in a rominsen body with a beefy aluminum heatsink. This is also fixed focus, but does NOT have an IR filter. It hits 110mW then settles back to 100 on a full battery, and burns the skin quickly when exposed. Operates on a single 3.6v surefire lithium cell. Includes a black carry pouch with belt hoop, battery and charger.

Current High Bid- $100. US

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

-160mW PHR in a Wickedlasers core body. Black powdercoat finish with no shirt clip. Comes with the original WL plastic storage box. Has adjustable focus, and axiz acrylic lens. Operates on two 1.5v AAA batteries. The inside of the case is slighty weathered, but the pointer is in nice shape. There are no scratches nor wear marks. The same driver in this laser is the same used in my personal PHR 185mW pointer. I have been using mine steady since Nov. 08 with no degradation in power. If the diode fails on this one, it will be replaced promptly with another high efficiency diode absolutely free. The same warranty as any of these lasers.

Current High Bid - $105. US Previous high bid $95. US

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

-330mW 405nm LG 6x with adjustable glass AR coated lens in a rominsen host. Operates on a single 3.6v lithium. Battery, charger, 110/220vac adapter, carry pouch, dust cap, focus stablizing cap, and , metal lens nut for the glass lens included. Also has a beefy aluminum heatsink.

You CANNOT keep your hand in front of this one for even a second at 30ft! The power is insane!  The dot is easily seen at 1000ft+  I will be adding some more pics.

This laser is simply a monster! This is my first 405nm that breached the 300mW barrier [smiley=evil.gif]

Current High Bid - $400. US Previous bid - $375. US

(The picture shows the 532 in the pouch, its just to show whats included with the 330mW 405nm)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

-165mW  4x diode with adjustable focus, axiz acrylic lens in brass lens nut. Built into a rominsen host. Operates on a single 3.6v lithium.   Battery, charger, 110/220vac adapter, carry pouch, dust cap, and focus stablizing cap included. Also has a beefy aluminum heatsink.

This laser can be focused with no wear on the lens nut. Unlike the plastics lens mounts, brass just wont wear out nearly as fast.

Current High Bid - $130. Previous Bid - $85. US

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

-120mW PHR-803-T with axiz acrylic in Z-Bolt.com's Leadlight high polish chrome pen. Operates on 2, 1.5v AAA batteries. Also includes metal case. Also in pristine condition, this laser consists of a high efficiency diode that gives 1mW for every 1mA you feed it.
Guarunteed to last, with athe 1 year free replacement warranty.

Current High Bid - $80. US Previous bid - $50. US

All reasonable offers are welcome. Any questions, please feel free to ask. All pointers are new and unused. The condition of the hosts are not scratched up, and there will be no finger prints, smudges etc. The cases are also in new and pristine condition. All the hosts were purchased, assembled and repacked.

The driver in the blurays is my own, and has been thouroughly tested for the past 8 months under various conditions and applications.

Again, these ALL come with a full 1 year warranty. This will not cover any tampering nor abuse.  I will also label them appropriately to save the buyer on tax, and keep the package under the radar ;)

Re: Pointers for sale / 532, 405 6x 330mW, 4x & PH

Only 4hrs and 40mins remaining folks...

Just a reminder of a few guidlines for any persons planning on bidding at the last minute...

-Posted on page #1-

Any members who havent bid on an item by 11pm and slips in a bid at the last minute will not be counted. We all know each other around here and trust that nobody will be sneaky about things. If people enter their absolute max bid, it should be pretty straight forward.

This obviously wont be like ebay and winning by a 50 cent margin. If all who participate are mature about it, I think we will be fine.

Then theres the possibility of people not paying, if payment is not sent within 24hrs, the item will go to the second highest bidder with no exceptions.

If you can think of any other ideas, please post them. If we work on some sort of honor system, id expect this to be the best solution.

Hey Wannaburn, how much cash value would a 4x sled translate into? Ie, I send you cash plus a 4x sled (I pay the shipping and everything), and the 4x sled counts as x amount of cash included in a bid.

I don't think you'll be interested, but this pointer would replace the project I was going to use this 4x sled for, and there's no harm in asking.

How does $50. sound as a 'trade in' ? IIRC this is what I paid for my 4x and want to give a fair deal here ;)

Hey Wannaburn it's really tempting not to bid at last minute, since this is an auction and I absolutely can't spend more than 100 :-/

Will u except a bid at 10:59 maybe ::)

I feel how you are trying to run this but an auction is an auction, especially when I'm on a budget :D

At 10:59 is fine, as long as you don't get outbid it's yours, also you can bid at $5.00 increments opposed to your max.

In my opinion, it would be better to have an active bidding system where you allow people to compete for each item at 11PM. For example, you post the current bid for an item and then give 30 seconds or so for competing bids to be placed. Seems better than the beat the clock method where you hope your bid is the highest.

I dont mind bidding to the last minute, I just wont be able to update that quick :-/ The only rule I saw fit to put im place is, if you havent bid by 11pm and then bid at 11:59 with an extra 50 cents, it would not be counted...

All bids are still welcome...
