My trade feedback on yoyonation.

I want a red laser, in the 660 nm range, preferably.

This laser had died when it fell off my desk, but I whacked it against my desk and it lives once more! The beam is very bright and very visible, it is a fantastic laser. Very fantastic laser for pointing/star pointing/whatever! Comes with one rechargeable battery that works very well.

Edit: focusing ring DOES work!

I also have a 50 mW Ledshoppe 532 nm laser for trade, overspec to around 63 mW.

No trying to be an jerk or anything, but the crystals inside of dpss lasers are sensitive to shock because they are meant to stay in place. If the crystals get moved (ie falling off the desk) the crystals can shift and the laser doesn't work. If another bump comes it might luckily move the crystals into place. They very easily could move again. So people are usually very hesitant with buy dpss laser that has a bad track record.

Its still a huge risk for a buyer to take since they could spend a little more and get a brand new one. Just saying, anytime I hear of the "hit it again and it works" methods, I recall seeing a man get out of his car, kick the front of it, it started up again and he drove off. It works, yes. But would I purchase it from him or trade him something for it? No. :undecided:
