"NOVA" style metal cases !

Hey all - I have managed to find some metal cases that look IDENTICAL to those metal cases that Nova uses for their lasers !!!  I can get these for $11.00 US sent to me - and an additonal $ 5 now - I would have gto sell 50 of them in order to break even, so there is no way I could order these ahead of time ! IS there enought interest to validate the purchase of these? Give me your thoughts !

Does it come with the foam insert
is it a plain case without the nova lasers logo on it?
Do they have a bigger size too, I kinda want one for my Hulk too....
lastly so thats $16 total each?

Yeah - that would be $16 shipped via USPS Priority mail. I did not enquire about other sizes - Especially since there is a "normal" 5,000 piece minimum units ordered ! (EEEK !)
No logo on there, and it would have the diced foam inside - to "custom" cutout the parts for your laser(s). That $16.00 figure is adding in their astronomical $365.00 shipping fees via - you guessed it, DHL. I dunno how DHL got such a strangle hold on that country - but it is damned sure agravating, and you cannot get a competitive shipping quote from any other place.

My only question(s) are how easy it would be to add a diode and circuitry, and what sort of heat dissipation these have compared the the Dorcy.

Its cheaper though! :D ;D

Oooops ! No - these are merely the carrying cases like NOVA sells iwth with their X-series lasers.....a nice, aluminum box - not a host per say for a diode and such....

How big are these cases exactly? I was just wondering if maybe my new sentorch could fit in it?

Sure it would - the cases are approx 8" long, X 2.5" wide X 2.5" tall.

It could fit 3 CNI pen style cases said by side, or one and a "Sentorch" or any combination I am sure....

Okay, so if I get 49 more "YES's" then I will bite the bullet and order ! LOL....I SUPPOSE I can grab their pic outta my email and post that, along with a link to CPF for the feeler....I htink this is a definite good deal, and they are DEFINITELY worth it in my opinion - I mean, I was gonna buy 3 or four direct from NOVA if they were going to offer them up at $25 or so, because they look so sharp, and professional. Kinda makes the laser inside look even more menacing :) And they are "small" enough that if I had to order the 100 minimum, I could store them without too many issues in my garage I am fairly certain. :-?

This is a sweet deal and barring having just purchased my Pelican case I would have defenitly been in for one. However since I now have my case I've no need for one of these at this time. As my collection increases I will be looking for another case but I'm sure at that time, this will be a thing of the past! Sorry Greg, but it is a sweet deal at $16!

No probs....if they come down some, I will DEFINITELY order from them - but I have an issue with paying the $365.00 they want to make me pay JUST for shipping. That is absolutely nutso, and makes me want to start up the SenKat Super Shipping Service ! LOL !!!
