No Longer For Sale

I am no longer selling this laser. It will be used as a host for a 445nm diode. Thanks for looking.

I have a WickedLasers Evo Pro 100mW.
It is not a review unit.

The laser is basically brand-new. Condition is perfect. I have used it maybe 1.5 hours total, which is why I am selling it. It is really a great laser, but I am trying to minimize my collection. It will be shipped in it's original presentation box and will include an extra warning sticker.

Note: When purchased, the beam exited the aperture off-center. I have re-aligned the lens for nearly perfect alignment (which is great if you have a telescope to mount it on).

The specs and details are in my review here:
http://laserpointerforums.com/f52/another-detailed-evo-pro-review-lots-pics-46224.html
At the end of the review, a power test is included in the video.
This laser will peak ~140mW in the right conditions, but is stable between 100mW and 130mW. This laser is IR filtered, not like that generic Chinese garbage from Dealextreme.

Here is a photo illustrating the corrected beam alignment (click for full size):

I am asking for $250 shipped. This item retails for $317.97 + shipping.
I will accept PayPal. Shipping via USPS Priority (~3 days) to USA only.

For an additional $11 I will include 4pcs 2700mAh Sanyo 1.2V (1.4V full charge) NiMH batteries. These are very high-quality rechargeable AAs. They last a very long time. They are used as much as the laser is. One pair has never been used.
However, I had to strip the insulation from the batteries because the Evo Pro's battery compartment is too tight. I gave the batteries a coat of black enamel for insulation.

Sadly, it seems everything but 445nm has fallen to the wayside. I'd just give it a bit of time, and with that, best of luck with your sale.

$250 a little expensive? In a past group buy, they were selling a 100mW evo for the same price, and usually during december wicked lasers offer discounts.

The Group Buys aren't anywhere near completion, nor will they be for a long while, plus he's personally removed the module and realigned lenses in this laser, which is a big pain in the butt at times, probably even harder with this host.

How did you realign the beam, you had to take it apart to do that right?

I can confirm this is not a review unit, RA_Awesome has purchased this laser via the WL GB.

Yeah and the group buy price was $238.47! which is cheaper than what he's selling it for. I'm lost, this laser is almost a year old, which he bought from a group buy for $238.47, and he's selling it for more, saying he bought it for $317? I'm lost?

He is saying that to buy the same model from WL directly costs $317. His realignment job (which is incredible by the way RA_pierce) is worth the $20 more he's asking, it's worth a lot more than that, but he's only charging that.

Re: FS: WickedLasers 100+mW 2010 Evo Pro

I did not buy this laser at $238.47. I am not claiming that I bought it at $317. Please carefully read the post. All the information is included here and in the review which is linked in the original post.

It was purchased at $250 in the first GB. Not $238.47.
Yes, this laser is "almost a year old" (not quite) with only ~1.5 hours of use and is being sold with extra work put into it to ensure that it is working the way a $250 laser should... Including shipping which costs ~$11.
If the price is too high for you, make an offer.
If this laser is not good enough for you, buy something else.

RA_pierce, could you tell me how you took yours apart? I have some fiddling that I want to do with my evo.

Re: FS: WickedLasers 100+mW 2010 Evo Pro

Sorry, that is lower than I am willing to go at the moment. If it doesn't sell I will probably end up making this into a 445nm laser.
