Re: 1.2 Watt Copper 445nm blue lasers $149 shipped

Did you put the batteries in the right way? Reversed polarity can damage the driver.
Also, when burning, focus your beam to a" pinpoint" . It will burn very well.

Re: 1.2 Watt Copper 445nm blue lasers $149 shipped

I just wanted to say I'm very happy I got this laser. Yobresal has been great with answering my stupid little questions and concerns, and the laser has been great. At first the batteries were not charged and I couldn't see the beam. Charged them up during the afternoon and now it's great. I haven't done much burning but I was able to light my cigarette with it in about 30 seconds and unfocusing it and shining it through a fire/smoke is really a sight to see. Can't wait for my glasses to get here so I can start using it more.

Also just one quick question if you don't mind. How can you tell if the charger is charging in quick mode or regular? I just don't want to leave them on there for extended amounts of time or unwatched when it's doing quick mode if it does, my LED just blinks real quick so I'm not sure which mode that is.

Give yobresal time reply...

From your description it does sound like you put in the batteries the wrong way. The big question now is whether the drive has reverse polarity protection built in.

Now I put the batteries I received after I fried them
The laser did like Flash
Then he turns off

I assume by fried you mean charged:thinking:

The rest of what you describe is exactly what happened to me only when I put in batteries the wrong way.

Is there any kind of smell coming from the inside of the laser? Does it smell like anything burned in there?

If it worked before, then didn't work, it is almost always user error. These drivers smoke when polarity is reversed. It also shorts out the batteries, possibly" frying" them as you say. It also frys the driver. Yobresal will take care of you, give him some time.
Also, matters of this nature should be addressed through the PM system, not through a public thread.

Hey bud, just woke up. These drivers have reverse polarity protection so battery direction alone wont kill your laser.I am not sure what is wrong. I cannot tell from your description. What i am
Sure of is that you will have a perfect workIng laser asap. I will PM you with instructions where to ship for a repair. Thanks

Awesome. That's good to know, in case I have a brain fart and put the batteries in backwards. Its happened before. :D

I've done it too. Always a bit unnerving until you get the tailcap open and see the problem.

just to clarify, which way DO the batteries go in correctly? Positive end toward the head of the light? or positive end toward the tailcap
