i heard that garoq is looking into making a green laser in a C6 host, but theres a few issues, hopefully it works out :)

radiantalpha sells decent cheaper goggles, survivallaser has some great quality goggles at a very decent price.

bought one of these and checked tracking today... it has passed UK customs clearance so should have it today or tomorrow...

Cant wait to get back into Lasers as a hobby...

I don't see how there could be an issue. Remove the pill so the module fits, and use 1xCR123 battery.
you could even leave the face of the heat sink closed off with just a hole for the aperture

im not sure if the problem was building it, but i know he's looking for a decent quailty module. he talked to CNI but they're prices are a little too high IIRC

Wow, this arrived so quick for me!! I only ordered on the 11th, and it arrived here today, the 14th! Especially impressive as I chose the cheaper mail option... :) Haven't had a chance to test it yet thought, waiting for batteries to charge hehe

can now say mine has arrived... 3 days to the UK! super fast! cant wait for the weekend so i can play with it properly...

Well I've now had a brief play around with this laser... lovely purple beam, even in weak daylight (my kitchen is darker than it would be outside), strong enough to light cigarettes in a few seconds and burn into wood, and it's wonderful! My only minor complaint with the design is that it's hard to adjust focus while the beam is on without burning yourself, you have to be reeeeally careful... And also, some instructions for the mildly mysterious battery charger would be really helpful. But overall, this laser is all-round awesome, and thus concludes my mini-review!

OP updated with the availability of the RED and VIOLET lasers. These are 330mW and 600mW respectively.

Second laser by the way. I got a 50 mw green a few days ago. I guess it's a big leap from that! instead of spending my bucks to gradually stronger ones I said oh hell let's reach for the top!

Just bought one of these! Hopefully it gets to Australia without problems ! One question tho. Some people are saying the focusing is a bit touchy, is there a way to remedy this? Install a spring ??
