Got mine in the mail today.
It is many time brighter than my ebay 5mW green, and looks the same brightness as my "50mW" ebay green laser. I am most certainly pleased with the laser.

The treading does not screech and is screws on perfectly. Another nice tough is that the AAA batteries bit just right, you can turn the end holding the batteries upside down and the batteries stay in it due to the snugness of the fit, where as my ebay lasers have the batteries fall right out. Thank you very much for a great product at a low price and shipped very quickly.

I metered the 5 pens I recieved and I was plesently suprised at the results.
Especially with how stable they are!!!

I loaded each of the 5 lasers with brand new AAA Energizer batteries and used these same batteries
for each test. I ran each of them for 3 minute intervals on a Laserbee I with a setup that looks like this:

I then gave them each 3 minute rest times and metered them again twice more with the break inbetween.

The results are thus:

Laser 1:
Test 1: Max: 58mW
Stable: 46mW
Test 2: Max: 56mW
Stable: 45mW
Test 3: Max: 56mW
Stable: 45mW
AVERAGE: 45mW

Laser 2:
Test 1: Max: 44mW
Stable: 38mW
Test 2: Max: 43mW
Stable: 38mW
Test 3: Max: 44mW
Stable: 37mW
AVERAGE: 38mW

Laser 3:
Test 1: Max: 21mW
Stable: 15mW
Test 2: Max: 20mW
Stable: 16mW
Test 3: Max: 19mW
Stable: 14mW
AVERAGE: 15mW

Laser 4:
(this laser had a problem the first test. It started out in TEM00 with a max of 41mW, then in a few
seconds it mod hopped to TEM01/TEM10 and dropped to around 20mW. Not sure which cause I have
no idea which way the diode is placed in the module. Then after test one it went back into TEM 00
and has stayed there ever since.)

Test 1: Max: 41mW
Stable: 20mW
Test 2: Max: 24mW
Stable: 22mW
Test 3: Max: 22mW
Stable: 21mW
AVERAGE: 21mW

Laser 5:
Test 1: Max: 26mW
Stable: 24mW
Test 2: Max: 26mW
Stable: 23mW
Test 3: Max: 26mW
Stable: 23mW
AVERAGE: 23mW

As you can see, 4 out of the 5 of these pens are actually quite stable and I am very happy with my
purchase from swimminsurfer. I will definately buy more pens from him in the future when my needs warrent it!

Just received mine. I ordered two. I have no way to check power output, but one is clearly brighter. I've got no problem seeing the beam of both of them in dimmer lit areas.

In a little bit maybe I'll try setting up a safe apparatus for estimating how much of the light coming out is IR.

I'm happy with my purchase. Thanks swimminsurfer!

Not especially.. They seem to be relatively the same! I have another batch from my old supplier coming in soon too and I'll let you know how those are in comparison!
