1: No IR filter. The IR light will attribute maybe 10-12mW to the overall power rating.
2: 2x AAAs
3: I'm not sure of an exact time but I think around 2 or 3 hours of on-time.

I'm pretty sure there's no duty cycle for these ones. The power isn't really something to brag about
to make the laser live long I wouldn't keep it on for more than a minute or two at a time. Just get in the good habit!
Yeah for sure! If you want to pay $20 that's fine by me but really it's only $15 to guarantee a 44mW+

Not so sure it'll get to you quite that fast. My guess is you should get the one I sent either tomorrow or the next day at the latest. Depends how close you are to Kearny, NJ!

Well it'll be hard to find one exactly 45mW it might be higher!
I can't replace them if you take them apart so I'd just send it back or deal with it!

How much WOULD you charge for a 50mw? 60mw?? Just out of curiosity, I know you said they're rare, I was just wondering if you had a price. I'm still planning on getting a >44mw + priority shipping, so $20. Just wondering if you had a price for 50, or 60. =]

Well the actual 50mWs that I've been selling for around $16 have turned out to be underspec a lot of the time which is a pain so I'm not doing that anymore.
I'd charge some ridiculous amount like $45 cuz I don't want people saying "I want a 50 or 60"
