I am now able to offer the host deal from a few months ago with the option of a driver board included.

This host uses essentially all the same components as the MkII Dilda Laser which has been extensively reviewed on the forum.

The driver board is as used on the latest 'Dilda' but with a 2 Ohm resistor allowing correct regulation from 6V. It will drive 300mA "cool" but starts to warm up at 330-350mA in my tests - so you could use an LPC Sled and build a 300mW+ burner for less than a Dilda!

Now priced including worldwide shipping:
Option 1 Host Kit £8.50
Option 2 Host Kit + Driver & contact spring £11.50
Option 3 Host Kit + Driver + Brand New Rohm RLD65PZB5 (~100mW CW) Diode £14.50
EDIT added by request:
Option 4 (old deal) Pack of 2 Hosts now including shipping worldwide £14.99

[These prices save, after shipping costs, £1.50-£4.00 on my regular price - as before please add LPF username at checkout]

The link is:Focusing Laser Host/+Driver Option/+Diode and Driver Option - Detailed item view - OdicForce Lasers Online Shop

The full build instructions with step-by-step photos are supplied with the kit and also available as a pdf here:My Pogoplug: Share

Recommended as an good first build on a budget!:D

If there is interest in a week or so I should be able to offer:
Host + Driver + LPC-815 Sled @ £15.50, please pm me if this is of interest and I will add this when the sleds are available.

Scweet! I like this host you sell, very nice!
Its a bummer though that this replaced the old LFP Special, I was thinking of geting another set of these host's since the $12 SF-AW210 GB :cryyy:

That aside this look's like a Good Deal!

I hate to see the :cryyy: so I added the 'old deal' as option 4 but with shipping included:

4. Pack of 2 Hosts including shipping worldwide £14.99

The 99p increase in price gives the 'free shipping' - should be cheaper for most and it saves any confusion on quoting shipping costs. ;)

Very nice! Just got me a pair of drivers and host :san:
I Almost got one of your module mounts, but im runing low on laser funds with the sf-aw gb and 445 madness.
My loc labby is going to be recycled for that mount and geting a TEC for a 445nm diode:eg:

hey if i was to build this with a phr 803t diode

would a rckstar driver work

No you would need a boost driver. The rkcstr driver needs atlest 7v with blue-ray, this host will hold one 14500 3.7v(AA size) or two CR2 3v batteries.
You can get a boost driver that sould work grate for a PHR (if you can solder a SMD resistor) from this same site. I got myself two of the boost drivers from hear to try out.

Allso you will need a fullthread 405nm glass lens from AixiZ to focus a proper beam without modifing the host.
