I am saying goodbye to the C6 kits. I have built literally hundreds and I am tired of them. I have found a suitable replacement and These are only the first of many many more to come. There are 4 versions I will be making available. The aluminum Blue Ice, Copper Blue Ice, aluminum Black Ice, and Copper Black Ice. All of these will have the diode pressed directly into the heatsink for maximum heat transfer. They come with IMR rechargeable batteries and charger.
The diodes are M140 from DTR.
They all have Black focus adapters
These use the diode direct press copper heatsinks.
Currently available I have a 2.3W black ice kit and a 2.35 blue ice kit with black focus adapter.
Prices:
Black: 2,300mW $220 Shipped
Blue: Sold

PM me for availability, prices and current power outputs.

Looks like you have a winner of a new host there Yob.... I must say the departure from the c6's is long overdue, and extremely welcome :D

Good luck with the sale... though it doesn't look like you need any

Why there is a tendency to put a switch at the end? This is very inconvenient. Switch should be quickly accessible. For example I haven't seen any torch made like that.

I've also wondered why there is such a fascination with rear switches. I'm a fan of the side-clickies myself...as you say, much more accessible and ergonomic.

Not all flashlights are do-able as a laser host.. However we do have the maglites, guidesman etc with side clickies, It's just that the most popular hosts come with a tail clicky switch by default. I agree with the fact that they are not easy access but imo this is a good thing and safer because most of the people struggle to find the switch if you show them your laser for the first time. Thirdly you get a easy access pill-area to mount your drivers and wire them all up nice and tidy..

If only my money tree were in season... :banghead:
Hopefully my funds will be a bit more expendable by the time of your next builds
Fantastic job!

strange, can't see the images, did you take the image off?
I work in China, and often times, there are problems accessing the internet, the government seems to censor everything...
