Wait seriously? Those are some pretty harsh words from someone that joined LPF this year! I've been a member here for over 3 years, and you come out of the blue telling me I have bad ethics and that I'm bumping my threads when there is no interest? The point in bumping a thread is to bring the thread to the top and see if there is more interest. The bumping was done 4 days after the OP.

I've sold lights and batteries here to probably 30-40 members here, and they have all been very nice individuals to deal with. Do you think I'd waste my time posting in the FS section If no one ordered ever?

I've advertised and created 10-20 threads here in the last 2-3 years, and have had zero complaints until now.

Let me now provide a couple links to a couple successful sales threads in the past, which also clearly show several senior members posting interest and purchasing etc.

I realize this is a laser pointer forum, however let me provide some more details regarding my claim.

This is a brand name light with a Cree XML T6 emitter, Hard Anodized III, a pocket clip, and a forward clicky switch, and uses 18650 cells. Basically you can't find a light with these features at this price point from any of the other "high end" Chinese manufactures such as Fenix, Olight, Thrunight, Lumintop, Spark, Klarus, Jetbeam etc.

A comparable light from one of these other companies will cost you around double the price of the SE-1.

Your business is supposed to pay to have publicity on this website. This section is for individuals selling personal items. Not for businesses.

A lot of your post come accross as coming from someone with authority, yet it doesn't look like your a moderator or an admin. I've gone ahead and flagged this thread so a moderator or admin can advise if there is something that I am doing wrong.

Has something changed in the last year? I'm only aware of the option to pay for a banner ad.

That's interesting, because in the US anyone doing more than about $500 in profit off anything, including a hobby would be considered a business and would be required to pay taxes etc. I'm an individual (although I do have a registered business). The only difference I see between some of these individuals making money on these forums and someone like me would be the lack of a proper webstore.

I'm not sure what this forums policy is on personal attacks, but I know a lot of forums that would ban someone for calling someone an idiot in the manner that you did. I personally like to mind my manners and avoid personal insults.

I guess I just respect those that deserve it... and by 'alot' of my posts you mean what, 2... 3 if you include this one ?

Like you allready pointed out, I am but a noob here and doubt that anyone else thinks as you do about me... Face it you're just trying to insult me back while trying to protect your image... you know... businesswise.

unfortunately there are no such rules, and people insult each other all they want.
it's like a children's playground.

Oh, I'm sure his products are good, and judging from the +reps, he's also got good service, my only problem is with his spamming forums for free publicity.
