My phone's camera LOVES 445nm for some reason. That's the 1.9W with a G2 installed so its 2.4W of 445nm and is pretty damn bright.

That beam is too perfect in the photo. Makes me think it's Photoshopped. ;)

Based on the imperfections in the beam itself and the slight gradient of brightness it does not appear to be.

What kind of phone do you have? Because that beam shot is amazing.

I'm wondering because my iPhone seems pretty bad at taking pictures of lasers.

I have an HTC EVO 4G

I just realized that I have a non-stock camera in my phone. It was replaced once so that could explain its interesting reaction to 445nm.

It's certainly an interesting reaction. The beam looks like it's solid in that picture. Kind of like it's a miniature light saber.

The first thoughts that went through my mind when I turned on my first high powered 445nm was "HOLY S**T I'M A JEDI!!!!"... in fact I might have even yelled that as well XD...
