Just recieved the 3 pairs I ordered. Very fast shipping and great packaging. These shades work just as good (if not better) than my Nova laser shades. Wish I would have found this thread before spending $49 bucks on the Novas. Now my whole family has eye protection... from the mean greenie anyways... Hey how about those reds NES_DS?? We need... we want!

Thanks for the feedback!

I'm glad to see that LPF members are beginning to buy NESHADES, for a while all my sales were coming directly from random people on ebay.

Believe me if I ever find a supplier for 650nm, I'll invest my life savings in them. ;D

Your welcome!

What's the OD comparison between NESHADES and the WL 532's in both elite and lasershade version? I'm sure this has been discussed before, but I can't seem to find a direct comparison. I take it from this thread they're closer to somewhere between OD 3 and 4 at 532nm rather than the first stated range up to OD 5?

Above what powered green laser is the dot visible when reflected from a typical surface? 100mw?

I have a 50mW and 200mW green and I can see the dot when using these goggles.

Well I can easily make out a dot of a 5mW at up to 10ft on a bright wall, and with my 100mW I can easily make it out on a bright wall at ranges up to 30ft. ;)

Thanks. Sounds no more than OD4 then. Good for my needs, thanks. I'm not planning to own anything >350mw anyway, unless I first trade in my wife. Oh wait... already did that ::).
