Need/want a 125mw+ bluray

My old lasersmith has been indisposed to making or contacting me about a bluray. I want a new bluray. I have had 3 in the past. All three have burned out. The third one burned out even when I treated it carefully. So I want a robust, not over powered, bluray that will last at least a year or more. If those of you who make these would tell me the specs and prices of your wares I would appreciate it. And hopefully we can grow old together doing bluray business.

I just made myself a ~130mW blu-ray and its quite nice. It's using a PHR and driven at 139mA. Not sure how long it will last, but if you want something that runs at 125mW that will last a very long time, your best bet would probably be to get a 4x build, which should run at 125mW with ease (far as I know).

But the PHR's are great and cheap to replace. And there is lots of PHR build sales going on in this forum. :)

I can build you a blu-ray with the o-like nicha diode which is rated at 120mW CW. At 120 or 125mW this will last for at least 5,000 hours or more. I can build it in any host you'd like.

PM me if you're interested

Aren't you in WA? I am too

would anyone help me build a 4x bluray in some flashlight style host with heat sink for $90?
maybe rominsen or coleman max at 120mA. . . can be fixed focus :p

I have known Igor for over a year now. ...  He is above reproach. ... How about he sends the lasers to me and I'll pay all of you naysayers double what you paid to Igor...

Mohrenburg: those "6X's really should be listed as "SF-AW210"'s and not "6X", you know... (Unless you found the only remaining stash of GGW-H20L's out there, in which case I'll take them all ;))

Check the threads - the graphs on the SF-AW210's are closer to a 4X and so far, not a whole lot of them have survived any better than PHR's at higher currents - just don't want to see you jam yourself up...

really? i was unaware of this.....i may have to jump onto scopeguy's GB and get some "real" 6x sleds.

strange, from the thread i read they were pushing these aw-210 sleds upward of 300mW i had thought......

the only problem is at what i sell my pointer for, i can't afford mistakes.....and i don't want to switch to something other than phr unless i can safely and reliably get atleast 200mW out of it with a very low failure rate.....

i'll jsut try out this sw210 from LSP....f it's a failure i will jsut concentrate on my green builds.......
