Need help purchasing Dragonlasers blue/green goggl

Hi guys,

I have started messing with more powerful blu-ray diodes and I figured that I would need some eye safety. I went to dragonlasers to buy a pair of their blue/green goggles, and alas, I could not pay with PayPal! Right now, that is the only way that I am able to do transactions through the internet. I was wondering if anybody could buy a pair of the blue/green goggles shipped to my address or ship them to me after they get them. I would pay you through PayPal for however much you lost in your creditcard (I think $42). Please PM me if you can help me buy these! Thanks!

Hey Jakob, why don't you just use Pay Pal To pay DRAGONLASERS ? That's how I paid for my YELLOW LASER!!!!!!!! rob

The problem with that was that there wasn’t even the option to use PayPal. I could only use Western Union something or a credit card… I will quote the emails between me and one of their representatives:

Dear Jakob,
I noticed you had trouble ordering a set of laser safety glasses from our website Dragonlasers yesterday.
To help to fix your order could you please tell me what the problem was with your order and what stopped you from completing your order.
If you had trouble paying online with your credit card, we can also accept payment by Paypay (verified account), Bank Transfer and Western Union Money Transfer.

I’ll arrange for a payment request to be sent to your PayPal account so you can make payment.
Could you please tell me your PayPal email address so I can do that.
We should have your laser safety glasses shipped to you with in a few days of receiving your payment.

Hi Jakob,
I just checked with our accounts department and the problem is our Chinese paypal can’t accept payments from a US paypal. It is a technical reason that I can’t explain properly. So other than credit card, that leaves Western Union money transfer or bank transfer. Are either of those convenient for you?

I finally replied saying that the only option I was available to use was PayPal, so I would try to get somebody on LPF to do the transaction for me...

Maybe DragonLasers took away the option of using PayPal...

Did your bank provide you with a DEBIT CARD for your CHECKING ACCT???? You can use that card #..................rob

My pops doesn't trust me with a credit card like number ;D ...he thinks I'll get carried away in my laser purchases and run it over hundreds of $$$'s.

The way I can even get money into my PayPal is by me requesting money from my bank account or me selling something through PayPal... that way I can't run anything over...

The goggles on Dragon are not rated for Blu-ray at 405 nm, they cut off at 500 nm, why not get the OEM Systems goggles that are for 400 nm to 532 nm?
