This is an old thread but i am now getting to build this. I am wondering what driver and what mA is suggested for this 5mW 635nm diode. Thanks again Blord

Sorry for the late reply. I bought the diode at Modewerx shop but they don't list this diode anymore. You can check this site for spec. Laser Diodes - 635nm to 1300nm - 5mW to 150mW
It was a Sanyo 5mW 635nm diode.
