looking for someone with flash cs4 experience.

I am currently working on a flash website. seeing as how i have no experience in C++ or flash scripting, or even flash itself, editing anything other than simple text or images is proving difficult.

The free flash template i am using has a "news" pages which loads html from an xml file into a text field.

I love this method but do not have the skill or experience to copy this page for every page on the template.


I'm looking for someone who can basicly copy this "news" page and make it the default page for all 6 pages on the flash template.
So that to edit the content on each flash website, i would edit it's own xml file.

I'm assuming this will require editing the actionscript, timeline, objects, and components.....

Figured i would check here first as i know someone must have some knowledge with flash...it's an easy way to earn money for some laser parts

Does the site have to be flash, or would HTML be suitable instead? I have plenty of experience in HTML and PHP (more than enough to do a site like this), but I only know the basics in flash. My friend and I are learning flash together, so as long as there's no deadline any time soon, we may well be able to assist you if it does have to be in flash.

EDIT: I had a look around in the template, I might well be able to help you with my limited knowledge of actionscript. Give me a bit of time to experiment and I'll get back to you.

EDIT 2: I've solved it! It'll take me a bit of time to tidy it up and make it ready for use, however. While I'm at it, is there anything else you want done to it in terms of template editing? I PM'd you.

i wish i had some lasers....but no. I haven't even touched or seen one since december....i don't own anything laser related (excluding dvd players ect..)
