http://laserpointerforums.com/f64/fs-mini-mag-kit-flexdrive-red-blu-ray-41030.html

Jayrobs kit includes a custom heatsink for the mini mag, thats for violet or red and there is a separate heatsink for a green module.

Blue lasers are not in your range (473nm) they're around 300$ for a very low power.

If you get that kit, you could buy it including the maglight which means jarob could then just fit the driver for you and all you have to do is solder two wires together onto the diode pins, if you get on without a driver and just the heatsink fitting the driver could be difficult depending on how good you are at DIY, its not too difficult though.

I would then look at purchasing a module from either modwerx or hightechdealz.com, you could mention that your using the maglight kit, and ask if two wires could be solder ed directly onto the diode pins without a driver, this would save you a lot of trouble.

I would recommend looking at either getting a GGW, SWF or PHR diode, GGW being most powerfull at 250mW with the right len, 175mW for the SWF and 110 mW for the PHR.

Remember also to get safety goggles, these lasers will burn your eyes, it will hurt and you will loose your sight permanently,

I personally recommend getting the pretty cheap goggles from dragonlasers.com that block from violot upto green well, and are good built with good quality:

GL, hope this helps.
