Hi all, im selling one of my personal builds.

As seen in the pics below, its a 1.5W 445nm, comes with soft case, and charger.
Lens is a Aixiz 405nm, and the output can be increase with and aspheric if 1.5W is not enough

Driver is a 1.4A amc 7135, powered by 2 cr123 3.6v cells. Focus is adjustable and can add a larger focus ring for 15$. Run time on a fresh set of batt's is aprox just over 1hr.

There is only 20-30mins on this LD, and will warranty it up to 3months, free repair.

Run time averages 30sec on / 1 min off.

Goggles are a must, and will only sell to responsible persons.

Asking price is 299. US obo shipped with tracking.

Thanks :)

All my builds are one off's and a tight fit... There is no rattling or loose fitting parts.
I hate bulky heatsinks width wise, so my aim with this was to keep it somewhat slender, but keep up with the heat...

I also modified the tail clicky so it has to be pushed further in before it powers on.

Forgot to add a couple of outdoor shots..

*EDIT*

I'll offer $250

I will entertain offers if nobody takes at full price... Highest offer will take it, if not gone by tonight.

Response sent. Hopefully i can elicit a free focus ring from ya. Got so excited and scrolled to the bottom of the thread to see if the laser was sold or not, that i forgot to read the entire first post. Can only pay 300, but hell if the other went for 250, you still got yourself a great deal :).

If there is one thing for certain, this hobby can leave an awfully big dent in the wallet ;)

Dang, fast sell and nice host! Insane power rating too. I honestly don't know why people have such a fascination with these lasers being so powerful (400+mW). I mean sure you get a brighter beam and dot and can burn the crap out of things, but with all the risks that entails, it's not worth it in my book.

I just can't wait until the 445's make it into the 5mW range. I plan to make myself a 50-75mW one, although even at that power it can still be incredibly dangerous. But at least it is significantly less dangerous than a 1+ Watt one.

But with all that said, it seems I am in a minority here. I just want a laser that I can enjoy the looks of rather than for burning the heck out of stuff. Sure burning can be amusing for a little while, but if nobody can even look at what your are doing without goggles, its almost pointless.

Well, there are a few types of users...

First, that guy at the board meeting... <5mW

Meeting-1.jpg

Then there is the star pointing type, these guys like a little
bit more power, but not overkill. <50mW

Then there is the LPF type user... class 4 or bust

Personally I like the Doc Brown type. Burning never gets old for me
