I think I might just have a host to pull that off. In my next personal... Fins and a copper HS

Gonna have to name it 'hot potato'

Measuring this on my LaserBee ran it quickly off the scale. With the datalogger running, the max is 1390mW.

I tested this on MM DIY meter which has been crefully calibrated.. On that meter, im seeing 1595mW, but called it a 1.5 to err on the side of caution.

It gets warm and fast, not sure if the LD would just give up at 1.7A, but its worth trying once.

You can get 1750mA if you add a 5th 7135 to your driver :shhh:

What driver are you running BTW? And at what current?

Sorry I got so excited about the parallel drivers that I did not see you replied as well. Will take that discussion to the thread that AdamCaudill linked to.

I called mine a 1.6W Peak to be safe. I am assuming yours drops in output as you run the test as well?
In my Beast there is a flexdrive set to 1460mA with a large heatsink on the driver. Also if you have not seen it check my sig I have a pretty cool review on this unit. Lots of pics and vids.
