The one I have for sale retails around 1500$ new. It's probably the best money can buy and cannot be compared to a 50$ beam expander.

It may have retailed for that price IF brought brand new, but isn't that the one bought off of ebay? I seem to remember this.

Hi Joe, I don't remember if it was on ebay or not....maybe it was. Anyway Dimitri talked the company down on the price and I bought it from them to add to his RPL.
I looked at my records and I paid $413 for it. It was a steal and easily worth twice that. I think Dimitri is low balling the retail new price, its probably more than $1500.

Hello Jack,
Good to hear from you, Yes new they cost a lot but my point was it was bought used on ebay and not a new unit. A unit bought used, and then used again, but compared to a new one.....

Melles Griot BE's are about the best you can get, and they hold their price for just that reason.

I bought this used and selling it as used accordingly. I am also including a 30$ adapter with it so that's around 50$ cheaper than I bought it. Only used it for 10 minutes really.

I'm well aware of the exact ebay sale and price of this item, as I had already looked at it myself, but since I already own 3 MG BE's I passed on it; no real need for it. We actually talked about it and you getting an adapter made for it back then, so Yes I'm familiar with this.

I was surprised when I seen it compared to a brand new $1500 unit, to which we all know this is not, and is how old? Sort of like saying what a brand new benz goes for and selling a 10yr old one, can't really compare the two. Better to say I bought it on ebay used, used it for x amount of time and go for there. New surplus ones sold for even less, and today still can be had at very reasonable/cheap prices.

I don't think anybody on a hobby forum would pay $1500+ to put one of these on a laser that cost less than the MG BE and then just pop balloons and light matches from afar with it. Although if I wanted/needed it bad enough, I might; but I'm partly nuts

As for Western Union, I wouldn't send one to a family member let alone some stranger in a Mid-Eastern Country.

Consider dropping your price and it may sell or spark more interest.

Best wishes to you.
