Ok, I really would like to do a laser build this Jan/Feb and I would like to get into higher power lasers on my own.
I am an intermediate (middle school and high school) teacher. I am currently in my last week of being in Seoul Korea and moving temporarily back to Canada for approximately~ 1.5 months.

I have already a 20mW Green pointer, but the pump diode fizzled. :(
I have built a N2 "air" laser and ran that for a few months, enjoyed it. I have had a chance to use a 1KW CO2 laser used for cutting... well aware of the dangers of high power Class IIIB and IV lasers.

Are you looking to build the lasers by yourself using a kit or do you want a pre-made laser.

If you are looking to build yourself but want all the parts at once, I would contact Jayrob, he offers great kits.

For pre-made I would normally recommend Igor but he is MIA (well he is sick), so perhaps someone like Flaminpyro comes to mind.

Actually a DIY kit with the drivers assembled would be what I am looking for. All I need is a host. I got lots of those. 200mW green possible? I know the reds go up to 350mW. That might me nice too!

Really. Are these guys able to be trusted?
Their 300mW green module looks positively excellent, but can I trust them?

You can trust O-like on any module except the 200mW new style (the $132 one) and sometimes the old style 200mW's (the $135 I linked you to). The reason I say "sometimes" for the old style 200mW's is that 50% of the modules that members have metered only perform at the level of 150mW or slightly overspec 150mW modules. Any green module over this power is much higher quality (and IR filtered), hence the huge price gap between the 200mW's and the +250mW modules.

rayfoss and o-like are reputable stores. If their products don't work as they should they always replace it, so buy it without fear ;)
