So I tried to sell these awhile ago but could only accept cash but now I'm back for TRADES!

I am working on building another scanner now (RGB) but I need parts. I am open to most any trade, as long as its scanner parts :)

Im looking for RED, GREEN, or BLUE modules. Also a case, DAC(fb3 only), or other parts.

If you are interested in any of these projectors DROP ME A PM

---------------------------------------

Up first is my favorite, Its a BLUE 488nm 250mw (rated) ~35mw actual (complete guess) Argon laser scanner system 12k ILDA, DMX, Auto modes . Ready to go out of the box.
Its a Uniphase 2202-35LL, LL is the optics designator and means a custom part in this case FYI.
This laser starts perfect every time.
This laser has no AOM or shutter so it is constantly on (no blanking)

Here is the ILDA test pattern at 12k-remember this is only 12k + a soundcard dac running it so you could easily get better results-<-CLICK

This argon has a broken photocell so when it starts is jumps to ~full power(8A) and stays there (not that this was a problem for me :eg: )

This scanner comes with everything in this picture, including a LARGE pelican case to keep everything safe.

---------------------------------------------------
Up next is my RGVP scanner. This has 2x 650nm 80mw modules, a 50mw 532nm module, and a PHR running at ~100ma.
The green module has a bad lens and loose wire somewhere. You should expect to have to fix the green module soon if you buy this.
The "P" in RGVP was supposed to be pink but the BR and RED beams dont actually mix, they just both come out of the same aperture.
The BR diodes driver is powered off of 1 or 2 9v batteries that attach to the rear of the laser.

-----------------------------------------------------

Lastly. my ?300mw? RGY. I don't have a power meter but this one was advertised as 200mw 650nm + 100mw 532nm 10k.<-I doubt the 650 is running at 200mw.
When I got this I quickly realized that the colors were way off so I had to turn down the green to get it to match and get a good golden yellow color(not seen in videos). The sound mode on this unit sucks(to me) but it has some cool DMX patterns. NO ILDA but comes with a case. The laser has a burn on the top from an incense stick and is missing the front black aperture piece.

Re: Lasers and LED lighting for TRADE

I could build you a 650nm TEC cooled module (temp. control at 20°C), with one LCC diode in exchange for the argon laser system. The module would also come with a DrLava TTL modulation driver.

Or, just give me a price. I can accept max $160.

so with the argon, it stays at full power all the time? Can't adjust it to idle?

It would need a new photodiode. I'm not really sure how hard it would be to find one but if you could its super easy to fix. I bet Dave could find one ;)

where did you get that case? it looks like a optical table/breadboard, I'm looking everywhere for those! If I had it, I'd get a new case and use this one for optical experiments :D

Re: Laser Scanners and LED lighting for TRADE

That's just way too expensive, I mean, a proper optical table like this is far more stable and solid, and it's cheaper too. Even their optical breadboard are way more stable, and those are even cheaper. Full optical tables are enormous beasts, but incredibly stiff and solid. This case is not worth that high price in my opinion.

It only costs that much because it already holds a variance, I agree that it isn't worth that much and I didn't pay anything for it and never would, I got it as a trade.
