Laserbtb model PL-445 for sale. $150 (buyer pays shipping)

2 watt 445nm. Includes carrying case. charger, and tripod. Barely used and works great!

I had originally ordered this item a few months ago from laserbtb. First shipment was confiscated and by the time I finally received this model I had already ordered a different laser from a member. If I had to guess I'd say the diode has less then 10 minutes of total use.

FYI, here's a link to the original model from laserbtb
PL 405/445nm 500-2000mW

Asking $150 . Includes the case w/ 2 keys, 2 keys for the laser itself, the remote key connector, and original charger (no batteries).

Paypal only. buyer pays shipping. Please PM if interested

TY. And yes it's a nice laser. I'll try to upload more pics tonight, maybe a beamshot.

It's barely used since I lost patience waiting for laserbtb to ship me a replacement for the one that was confiscated by customs and ordered another laser from member dtr.

I used it a bit when it came in. Made sure it worked, compared it to the other I purchased. Then basically back in the case it went. I'd include batteries too if shipping them wasn't such a problem.

Sweet 445 you have there. I have a 501B 1.6W 445 and it's absolutely awesome, with a 3 element glass lens divergence is 0.86mRad!

I know Sky (btb) is good and I just got unlucky, and we'll see how the returns go- but I got burned by them in June with a 300mW 532 HL that only puts out 110mW peak (drumroll...160mW including IR). Before it warms up it's barely 50mW. Score, huh?

Good luck with the sale. That PL looks sweet. I don't care for that half-second delay between pressing the button and it actually turning on though. Does the PL have that wretched delay too like the HL?

Nope, no delay beam comes on immediately, I have this exact laser and it is amazing for the price. Good luck with the sale.

You mean absolutely immediately? On my HL there's about a third of a second delay. The power LED changes instantly from green to red when pressing the button, but the laser doesn't turn on for that third of a second.

Yeah I heard a lot of good things about the Sky HL 532. Mine was pretty defective though. How old is yours?

My beam fires as soon as I depress the button, I notice no delay whatsoever, the arm indicator goes to red and beam comes on at same time. Just got mine in July.

I have no delay on both of my HL and my PL laser once i press button it emits instant laser beam, sounds like u got a defective laser FiveTwentyThreeHundredmW sadly :( but it should go under warranty clearly they did either a poor job on yours or the crystals somehow got damaged and moved during shipping since dpss is more sensitive then diodes but they should cover the mistake since thats not normal behavior anyway for a green dpss.

And yes the PL host is ten times better then HL its bigger and feels very solid and well built cant go wrong whatever wavelength you buy for that host.

I'm glad for you guys & good luck with the sale. Not to get off-topic but I just got a 650/660 open-can LPC diode 501B. The divergence on this thing is unreal low. From 30 feet away the dot is still pinpoint! :)

price dropped to $150.

Also, for some reason I never got notification of thread replies or anything.

I'm still interested in selling this laser though! As previously described, it's in brand new condition. Works awesome!

I've just been super busy with work and life to actively check up on this thread... was kinda relying on the notifications going to my phone via gmail!

Just to clarify on the seriously new condition of this laser.

I impatiently ordered a different laser state-side after this one got seized at US customs... about 2-3 weeks later laserbtb finally sent me a replacement. But by then I no longer needed or wanted it. I fired this one up a few times the first week I had it to check it out and it's been in the case ever since.

I got this laser late May 2015 as a b-day present, think it was like $225 total with the tri-pod.

So $150 is a steal imo! It's a great laser! Hell I'd include batteries if it weren't for shipping restrictions!

The host is built like a tank and stays very cool, laserbtb claims a 3-5 minute duty cycle which sounds seems realistic for this laser.

I just don't need two 445nm lasers and I'm happy with the one I got from DTR since it screws directly into my e-cig mech mods

If someone wants a beam shot pic or a video blasting balloons or something I suppose I could do that IF requested by a serious buyer. I've just been busy lately. I promise immediate shipping to the buyer though!! I hate waiting on shipping as much as everyone else!!
