I can't wait till it arrives!

Not only will I have a great lpm, but it also is an oportunity to learn Labview better for school. I'm pretty sure I can use the serial data to learn how to make custom real time charts, etc..

shouldbe getting my Laserbee I LPM, 40 aixiz modules, 20 drivers, 2 6X br sleds, and 21 phr-803t sled all in one day 2morrow ;D ;D ;D its like christmas. And i got more things comming.


Gonna make it dress up all nice and sexy to take the 405nm beam in the hole  ;D ;D ;D

comes with Data Logging PC Interface Software... that allows you to record a test session...

and allows you to Graph that session and even print out the test session Graph...

and allows you to Graph that session and even print out the test session Graph...

Yes,  and I will absolutely use it!  I also saw a good oportunity to try and make my own through Labview in order to learn it's programming process to prep me a little for any use I might need at the uni.  So far everything I've had to use in the optics lab have been pre-made Labview Vi's (progams). I would see if I can use the Laserbee I in a custom application.  After some discussion of the diodes available to our community, one of my professor's was suggested characterizing them.  The final goal would be to record power, current, heatsink temp, Vf all recorded over time and use this to determine diode specs like absorption and gain coefficients and quantum efficiency.  I'm up for the task and hopefully the Laserbee I will prove to be an integral part.   I'm excited to start playing!

Haha yes just ordered one ;D, and if you check my signiture you'll see I only laser I have is the 1 dorcy Jnr that I've made, except for some old 5mW greens. Didn't intend to purchase a meter till next year sometime but this is a great deal you can't afford to miss get in before they all go . Luckly I'll have some lasers from Igor to test this with as well soon!...... must get some more parts for builds .

yep be nice to know what it does, lol spent about £160 on a meter now i'm gonna need to justify that cost by buying more things to test, this site is brillant........at emptying my wallet
