Hoozah rooftop party!!! It looks like you're the only one with a laser though? Those people have no idea what they're missing out on.

It definitely got people's attention. Although this was quite a party, and a lot of crap was going on... I almost got into a fight with a comedian:eek: and you'd be amazed what kind of things the perverted magician was making from balloon animals.

(Of course I kept popping the balloons:p)

@Regalis - Lol... no goggles. Only pointed up and at a nearby wall of a building - on which there was a projection of a fireworks display.. no windows.

And yes, I did check for planes before pointing the lasers up... although nyc is technically a no fly zone to begin with.

LOL @ popping his balloons!!! That's awesome man :D

Most fun demonstration of laser safety to date. I popped one balloon specifically from about 20 feet away with my 445nm... extreme care was taken, demo definitely had desired effect, there are at least a few dozen people now quite aware of basic laser safety:evil:

If you wait on the steps, it will never come... lol

ok and how lame is it to quote yourself? :)

UPDATE! Brighter ink!
My printer actually said he can get another ink that has 4 times the flouresce. It costs $260 for a quart.
We printed 25 items on this last run, so essentially the cost per item would be an extra $10. You can do the math to see how many we'd need to get the cost lower...

BUT there have been some interested in donating for the better ink. My printer will have a sample in about 2 weeks. I'll go check it out and see if it really is a lot better and if I think it's worth paying an extra few bucks.

@dethlore -

The luminosity of the current ink is fine... it's just that it really doesn't hold a charge for long. A few minutes at best. Considering some of us always carry a flashlight and often a 405nm laser.... a charge source is always available, but passing one over the logo every three minutes just doesn't work:p

Did I mention the charge is supposed to be 4 times longer too ?

I'll verify with the sample stuff in a couple weeks anyways though to see if it really does.
