Sorry for any inconvenience, but I'm having to put this sale on hold as I've had to make unexpected payments and can't afford to ship this out to someone untill next week. I get paid next week so when that time comes I'll put the item back up when I'm in a more suited position to get this out to someone in a reasonable time. Again, sorry for any inconvenience.

For sale is my laser power meter, I'm in need of a new camera so the time's come where I have to let a few things go. This unit is a Scientech 362 with a Scientech 360001 Calorimeter; it was previously acquired from Daguin (a well established member here) roughly a year and a half ago so you know this is quality product. I bought it to measure my lasers and since I got the readings I wanted, it has been in storage most of the time. He had originally got the unit from a science base auction site; both the unit and head show signs of bumbs and scrapes, although do not be discouraged, it has been well looked after in both I and his posessions and is in fully working order.

This is a needle meter and has options for .001W - 10W and this set-up is good to measure anywhere up to 10W, so you have a massive range of power levels which can be measured. The head is a thermal unit and not optical, it measures the amount of heat being generated and is so sensetive, that on the lowest settings can detect the heat from your hand!

Forgot to add, this also requires a US power supply, so a converter is needed when not in that region.

The price I'm asking is £125 including shipping (item will be shipped registered with tracking), although I have yet to get shipping calculated. The meter and head combined are quite heavy so I'd expect shipping to be somewhat more expensive than your average package. I'll have that updated tomorrow.

Here are some images of the exact item in question.

A video of the unit being used can be found here. This is an old video and the quality isn't great so I opologise for that, but a new video can be made upon request.

My previous history with selling items on the internet has mostly been with high priced items, so buy with confidence. Here is my eBay:

I have also sold high price items on this website and have recieved positive feedeback:

Sorry for the poor quality, but a video of the unit can be found here. It's dark where I am right now and my current camera doesn't pick up light very well, so I'll take some pictures and videos of everything tomorrow and will post them up.

A little about the item. It was bought roughly a year to a year and a half ago and was bought to measure my lasers (obviously!), however it's barely been used. After I got the readings I wanted, it went into storage as I haven't bought any other lasers. At the time Daguin had two LPM's, the 362+Calorimeter and a 365+Thermopile. While the 365 had the Thermopile, it was designed for REALLY high powered lasers and was far too much for what I needed, so the 362 was best for me.

It's a needle meter and the options available on it are .001W - 10W, although I seem to remember Daguin mentioning something about it being best for .001 - 1W (I'll message him and see if he can confirm that). My lasers don't exceet 250mW so I've never had a need to test the system at those levels. The unit was used and came from a science based auction site, however it's a very solid unit and gives me consistent readings every time I use it.

There's a video if it being used up there, although the quality isn't great. I'll try and get some higher quality videos of the system being used tomorrow...

Edit: Just to point out. I'm situated in the UK.

probably the only thing that could keep me from buying it is the price, I'm just a student, but definately interested (I'm in the Netherlands).

These are MUCH harder to come by in the EU. If you are in the UK or on The Continent, and are in the market, this would be a good buy

Yeah so I think I'll be putting this up for sale officially tomorrow once I get these images and videos sorted out. As for price, I'll be looking at £125, shipping I have yet to determine as I need to have it weighed...
