IR is VERY fickle with lenses, best let me do my research first. we have PLENTY of time friend. dont be in a hurry or this build may not be all you want it to be. but let me do my thing and your set brother.

Wow... I dont know how you can do this for $10 but if you can make it work and make a little bit of cash, more power to ya!! :bowdown:

I was doing it for $30 and had about 10 builds a week at one point, but I realized that even at $30 I was losing money due to all the time involved. couple that with my full-time job and it was hard to keep up and keep it all worth my while.

it is the "write" spead of the diode. its a 6x BR diode

WTFMAN911 - your chrome arived today, should be done tonight.... but i must say... you couldnt have packed those parts any worse. absolutely NO garuntee that it will even work.... you had the diode soldered to the driver and it isnt even pressed in the module... when i get to it i will test it. but i highly doubt it survived the trip in the single lair padded envelope.... you just threw all the peices unprotected in one bag?.... folks... you MUST pack your parts with the UTMOST care. i am not responsible for broken/damaged parts.A good example is the way MAXI3D packed his parts... flawless maxi.

And just "seperating" the parts into anti-static bags "a must" isnt all there is to it. the PACKAGE itself must be heavily padded, for the sake of YOUR lasers people... please pack your parts well....very well. WTFMAN911 i'll let you know tonight if your parts still work or not.

Thank you for the support, you know better than most... i dont do this for the money...

Its holding up just fine. I have had it running for probably 3 or 4 mins and the hit sink wasn't even warm to the touch!! Ill try and get a video of it and send it to you if you'd like. All thats left is to get some glass for it really open it up!!
