Because theres always that ONE guy... who will do EXACTLY as instructed not to. All that is being done, is THAT important message, is now being bumped up farther and farther.

So i recant...

OK, i appologize for this, but i DO believe a laser got slightly lost in transit here, as i have a laser, and no paperwork on it strangly...

Who shipped me a CREE Q5 LEd host WITH dark-horse heatsink, AND A BROKEN v2 FLEXDRIVER. AND a custom aperture cap.

And i will verify when/if someone replies, so dont be smart and jump out and say "hey its mine!" cuz it wont work

What is the most powerfull Blue-Ray diode and if it was really powerfull it will cost 20$? I'm in Canada... Also you build COMPLETE laser pointers, right? Sorry I'm a bit newbish T_T

Recommend me the best Blue-Ray laser pointer you can make :D If you can...

This is a $20 BUILD SERVICE, not a sales thread for complete lasers.

And the MOST powerfull blu-ray build feasable at this moment in time, is the 8x build.

The 8x diode is capable of 500mW's under the right conditions! The legend Daguin here on LPF is the only current owner of a 500+mW blu-ray laser that i KNOW OF....

I sell this build for $400 shipped. Cheapest price on the net! Just ask around ;)

Daguin is the man! Who else could pull off the stuff this guy does... NO ONE i'd say ;)

He truly is reputable beyond repute, If you ever get the chance to chat with him... soak up whatever knoledge you can! as it is a rare opportunity im sure.

is it possible for me to buy a 6x diode, have it shipped to you, and have you buy a heatsink+driver+host and build it for me?

and would you be interested in trading the cost of building and parts for my Jayrob's diy green kit?

A DIY green kit wouldnt cover the heatsink+host+driver.

Maybe if you throw the module in.

Hey Dalorian... :whistle:

I found this 8x laser on the ground today, it has a nice custom aperture cap, and a 405-G1 lens, and it puts out 403mw's at 249mA!!! ISNT THAT CRAZY!!!???!!!

Dark, can you build me a host, that can run one of chris's cryogenic orange/red diodes at -20C and have it run with a pulsed driver at 800ma?

I think a cold-finger in a vaccume sealed chamber with a independently heated aperture window is my best bet!!!

Tough build though!
