I suppose I should clarify for you jay that the first run barrels are not defective or inferior in anyway to the Kryton Grooves.  They just weren't embelished and were designed to fit only the cr123 batteries instead of the 18650.  They can be modified if necessary to fit the 18650 by cutting the inside diamter open a little bit, plus with them having a smaller outside diameter, I kind of like the feel of them a little bit more than the larger Kryton groove.

They still provide superior heatsinking and direct diode insertion into the head that defines the Kryton from any other host. (The Big Chunk, Tactical chunk, and Junior Chunk while direct diode inserted are just heatsinks to be used in another host.  Still implemented I'm sure from the many hours of discussions on Skype with Daniel as he drew up the very first Cad designs for the Kryton smooth)

Well Jay should rep you 'cause I'm one of the many that have ordered his Kryton Groovy Green kits  

So it could be said, economically speaking, that you are the third* member of the LPF-DIY community that I have had the honor of doing business with! In any event, I get the best of both you and Jay out of that transaction  

*Igor & Jay being the others so far, but I'm not quite done just yet
