I'm workin on some more Kenometers and would like to know if there are more people interested in purchasing one.

Same as before would be around $300-$350 and would come with graphing capabilities built in. Microcontroller based with on screen graph.

I had planned to purchase a Laserbee I before Christmas, but if you make more Kenometers I might get one of those instead.. A very tough choice - but I would be interested for sure!

Now this is not to say that the laserbee isnt' a good meter. I've noted it all over the place and it's a tough decision.

Also how accurate are Keno meters?

If you can promise me one i will be in for one also as i have a potential buyer on my laserbee : )

Yeah I'm still in the development phase with the microcontroller right now so I wouldn't get to hell fire in a hurry to buy the Kenometer this second. I've for sure got all the stuff though.

Sadly no. Or at least not without a complete overhaul. The old boards have an onboard opamp and the new heads do not require the amp.

I have one of Kenom's "old-skool" Kenometers and I use it frequently. Great, easy-to-read display and simple operation, I strongly recommend this product.

Step up and get these units, folks!

Me three! (Another old-school Kenometer user here...) I'm planning another YouTube vid highlighting IgorT's units; Should I add in a plug for you too, Ken? I always get tons of "where'd ya get the meter?" queries after I post new vids, so I was planning on putting in a closing credits frame leading people here to LPF for info. Let me know if you want a more direct plug.

Good to see you building again, BTW. I'm sure you'll sell all you make in short order.

I wanted to update this thread with a new LITE version of the Kenometer. Essentially it's just a Thermopile head and a readout. It does not at this point have the ability to graph. Once the microcontroller portion is developed I will offer it as an upgrade. Pricing for the Lite version is $175.
